Once in a life time experience....In lentor avenue

Yup... had a really cool experience in Lentor avenue yesterday... something which i think not many people will get to try in their life.... haha....

And i get to experience after doing archery coaching at Northbrooks secondary school, for some boy's brigade...


This was taken when i was heading home... all the cars are stationary here.... no one could move... and from what the motorist from the other side of the road told us, there was an accident involving a bus and a lorry... so all 3 lanes of Lentor avenue was blocked... think only the motor bikes can go through....

We were stuck for around 45 minutes to 1 hour... i just switched off my engine, and sat outside to chat with other drivers....

Saw alot of passengers in the taxis getting off.... they rather just walk back to the MRT... though it is quite a distance away...

We waited until the traffic police came to direct us to do a U-turn on the spot to drive back to the junction... think they didn't manage to remove the 2 big vehicles... either that or it will take quite some time for that to do that...




And here... you can see an SMRT long bus reversing... think it is trying to get back into the junction, because it can do a U-turn... too long liao...












And from here, you can see i am actually driving in the same direction of the traffic as the other side of the road... cool man.... i'm actually driving in the opposite direction of Lentor avenue...

I even made a left turn later on... at the guidance of a traffic police of course... ^_^

Been quite busy the whole week.... working in the afternoons from Tuesday till Friday, and on the morning for Saturday... then get to experience this type of thing... haha...

Quite refreshing i guess..... a rather positive view to this massive jam...

Was most busy on Friday though... because i had 3 events packed together... firstly it was doing coaching at Yishun... then go for my life-saving course.... then after that rush to my classmate, Yan Xi's birthday party....
Kinda fun... got to eat alot of ice-cream there... because on of her relative operates a portable ice-cream stall.... and it's been quite a long time since i ate ice-cream... so i kinda stuff myself with it... haha...

Well... at least i have been spending my time more productively now... working almost everyday... the coming week would be even more packed for me... everyday got job...
It's good... haha... finally bringing in some cash....
The other good thing about this job is that, for every assignment, i get $10 allowance transport fee... so i can actually drive to work le... that amount is enough to cover my trip to the west and back... almost...^_^
And that is what i have been doing for the past few days... more convenient to travel around...

Well... guess that's all.... go sleep le...
