Finally...

Just came back from a basketball session.....

Hmmm... guessed i played rather averagely.... was quite eager to get on court when i finally rushed to the court to meet up with the rest... it was kinda rare nowadays that got so many people come to play basketball....
And yar... finally... i am working... but i will come back to that later...

Saw the first set of match.... the 5 SHG against some strangers.... and as i was mentioning... was rather eager to go in already... because there really seem to be lacking center...rebound rate abit low... and they were kinda being played around by the opponents....the opponents keep getting the rebounds, and thunder the ball to their other team mates at the other side of the court....
And they were losing quite abit....
But well... the game have to finish first... but at least in the end got catch up... lost by abit...

And so... very enthusiastic upon the start of the 2nd set... was running up and down the court... helped out abit here and there...scored abit..... but i think my performance can still be improved.... alot...
But in a way... i think it is rather satisfactory....
Afterall... i had had a long physical day at work... and wasn't feeling very well the past few days... only began to feel much better this morning...
But not much difference... we still lost... by abit again....

Hmmmm... think my long absence from playing is really dulling me by quite abit.... got to work on that....

But still.. i had fun... just that because go too late... only get to play awhile.... no choice... work commitments....

Wasn't feeling well the last few days... think ate something wrong somewhere... hmm... maybe it was the food with the MK team....
Hmmm....

And so... didn't bothered to blog... too sick liao...

And yar.... i've got a job already.... though it is a part-time one...
It's an archery instructor job... and so far, i've done 2 assignments this week...

First one was on Tuesday, where i coached some little kids, from i think 5 years old to 10 years old, for 2 session,2 hours each.... on basic archery shooting.... this was my trail session... so no salary one...only given $10 to cover transport... I need to complete 6 hours of it, before i can actually get paid....
But i am actually quite happy about it, because i've only went for 2 sessions of training, and the coach found that i can start on the trail job because i've already mastered the basics... and quite fast..... ^_^

The session was rather fun.... but quite tiring... because i was basically kneeling down to match their height when helping them with their bows and arrows.... but kids being kids.... are rather fun to coach.... though you have to be more patient with them....
The good thing is... if you have anything that you don't know, can just "smoke" your way through... haha

Another even more happy thing is that, after the whole session, i was praised for a job well-done... by the head coach, and the assistant head coach.... who are also the bosses...
Not really sure why.... because as far as i've recalled... all i did was coach the kids... nothing very special about the way i did it...
But it sure feels rather good.... haven't been praised for a long long time... haha.... but well... it didn't really blow my head up or something... i just take it as a compliment....
But that wasn't the main thing to be happy about.... the main thing was that the head coach decided that my trail can end already... although it had only been 4 hours... because of my good performance... and he did mentioned that it was the first time that they cleared a part-time instructor's trail session in only 4 hours....^_^
Now... this would definitely be something more worthy to be happy about... haha... because it means i can start earning some money!!!

It definitely feels good to be praised and rewarded for a good job... even though it may sound rather "kidish", but i believe everyone likes a praise here and there.... no matter the age... so... i believe everyone should start praising one another like there's no tomorrow~~~ ^_^

And the next one job was today.... no coaching... but doing logistic matters.... SK!!!
Starting at 10 in the morning, and only ended around 1930hrs... was basically moving around the whole island today... collecting ands ending target and target boards... quite heavy leh... and only got me and the assistant head coach... i machiam like delivery assistant...
Was a rather long day... but i didn't mind... longer hours means more pay.... ^_^
Because right now my pay is $6/hour, and i have to complete 40 hours before i can advance to $8/hour... so it's good to get more hours...

I think army had helped me alot to prepare of this job.... because i realised, as a commander... there's no such thing as "being tired".... something which got stuck in my mind whenever i am outfield, or doing anything with my men.... they can be tired.... but when they are tired, i will never show that i am tired... even though i may be dying inside... but i kept strong.... and this mentality had kept me going on through the army days... especially during the 32km route march...
In a way... even though today had been long and rather exhausting... i kept on going... because i know this in my heart... that i can never be tired~~~
