SRJC Class BBQ 2008

Just came back from my SRJC Class BBQ...

I would say.. on the whole.. although the attendance was not very good...around 10 came... because there's a few who went overseas... then some cannot make it.... some didn't reply... some last minute cannot make it... it felt more cozy that way... because with a smaller group... we just interact much more with one another... haha...

And what was more ... how should i put it... maybe more happening... is that we managed to get our former tutor, Madam Kelly Tan to grace our event... haha...
And it came as a surprise to me that she was no longer teaching... and is pregnant with a child... haha....
But it was nice to catch up abit with her too... though she may have only taught me for 1 year... i must thank her for my GP grades... B3... ^_^
And she shared quite abit of scandals with me of SRJC.... hmm.... how things have changed since my time there....

I was rather happy that well... a few of them did messaged me to tell me how great the BBQ had been, as a gathering for all.... that sort of motivated me... well... i could do a few more next time... haha....
Although as usual... i'll be getting my hands dirty setting up fire and stuffs... cooking.... but i don't' mind doing something i like... and making everyone happy... haha...
By the way.. i managed to get an awful lot of pictures of setting up the BBQ for my course work... with my Canon S5IS or course... and that is really a very good thing... been trying to get good shots for my coursework for sometime already....

Few things could be improved though... like when there were some who cannot make it and didn't inform ... not very nice leh... because i worked my budget according to the number of people.. so in the end, everyone have to pay more...

And i think i could definitely order less of the bee hoon... it was left 1/2 untouched... very wasteful....

And i should really go survey for a perfect BBQ spot at East Coast Park.... with toilets nearby, good views and bright lights... the nearest toilet then was like 800metres away... and carrying the water container full of water for that distance is not very pleasant...

Oh... and i think i should prepare a big ground sheet the next time, then i can tie in above the pits in case of rain... for our case... it rained on and off for awhile at the start... but lucky the pit i set up was superb... it survived the rain...
Anyway... it was only a small drizzle... ^_^

And lastly... i could definitely do better with getting help...a sudden change of plan by Mr De Jian caused me much agony... as i have to carry everything to the pit myself from the carpark, with no one to help look after the stuffs... in case some monkey decided to have a BBQ session as well...
Luckily.... all was well as i transported the stuffs from my car... making 4 trips...-_-
He came in the end, after the change in plan was changed... dues to some situations... haha...

Hmmm.. i think other than that.. other stuffs should be rather fine... haha

Here are the earlier birds.... posing for my Canon S5IS...

Madam Kelly Tan and her very artistic face.... -_-.. with her husband... and the rest of those who came... posing for my Canon S5IS..

The leftovers.... after packing up and stuff, we took one final group photo, with my Canon S5IS...

I think i can take over Maria Sharapova as the next Canon Poster person.... haha....

That's all~~~
