Wobbly legs...

Today kena the above mentioned sydrome..... leg muscles really sore man.... because this morning still chiong during the morning basketball session... although yesterday just completed the gruelling 10km run.....

But i must say.... for the first time for so long... i am very happy with my performance today... muahaha.... been scoring really well for most matches... did beautiful layups....
Just very satisfied with myself.... haha.... maybe it's also because of the added confidence from yesterday solo DOTA match with someone....

I shan't say who though.... Muahahaha....

But well.... the side effect.... leg mucles are very sore now... especially my thighs... and my leg got some serious blister.... adding difficult to walking....
But well... still happy.....

Then basically after this moring... nothing much le... planned to go out... but due to the low attendance and stuffs... in the end also didn't go anywhere le....

Damm... there goes my $5 voucher form Times bookshop....

10km run at Pasir Ris Park....

Just came back from the above mentioned activity.... really tired man.... muscles sore... mental drain.... haha... too long never run le... my timing increase like nobody's business.... 70min leh... last time is 60min ++ one....
But i guess this time the running route also not veyr good... keep cris-crossing the 2 sides of the park.... then like running on the samer route again, just that opposite direction....
Weather was also abit hot......
And alot od other excuses.... haha....

Oh well... about time to train up le.... seriously man....

Oh yar... also met Zhen Yang there... his unit also having some run.... but i tihnk much less then ours...

Anyway... in the morning actually want to go send off my fellow commanders whoa re going ROC, attached to OCS... suppose to be at the airport at 0500.... i woke up at 0400.... went to lie awhile... then the next timing i saw is 0500 le....
Haha.... oh well... guess it's ok ba.... haha...

Hmmm... that's about all today le....

Finally... i'm back...

Finally...... phew...back liao... spent the whole day till this morning yesterday with the war gaming... we were testing out a full operation... but got alot of problems man... then very lag.... so in the end dragged until this morning... then finally end ex....

Still make me spent my $20 coupon to get home... sian...

Oh well... at least it is the last session liao... no more man... really veyr boring... haiz...

Then basically come home kock out le... sleep all the way till now...

Wanted to go swimming later... but the weather don't look good.. so well... i guess it's more resting time then... haha...

Myabe i just wana make things clear here.... my earlier entry on my car thing... let's jsut say it is not aim at one person... it is aimed at the situation... but maybe you can say that i wrote it with refrence to the SMS sent.... but it is not aimed at anyone per say.... but the situation....

So... hmm... well... just try to look deeper into it lor....search within my words.... and how you think about it.... it's up to you le....

The thing is though... don't start shooting back at me about stuffs.... think through the whole issue first....don't let anger or "du-lan ness" overcome your thoughts, and dont' direct them at me.... look within what i say.... and you will seek greater enlightenment.... Muahahaha...

Another boring day....

Just came back from a seisson of arcade at Dhouby Ghaut there....played Ghost Squad there.... it's kinda of a very weird session.... because i can seriously feel the unhappiness aura emulating from somebody....
Haiz...

Anyway... i also received a message from this same person... let's just say... i choose not to reply... i want "you" to think over your messages first... including the earlier ones.....whihc i also didn't reply... maybe after some careful thinking.... you may find some enlightenment....
For your information... there was no arrangement for any ride anywhere.... i didn't even say if i am driving....

I will be honest here man... i have come to this point... that i would never expect anything from anyone ... because it is pointless that i have to air my unhappiness over it....
I choose to suck it up... and manage at my own pace.... so that i will not have demand of the others... and i also hope the others should do like wise... so at times that i would choose not to send people home anymore.... if there is still public transport available...

Think about it....

Let's put it this way.... we live in differnt parts of the island.... and honetly...it was never convinient for me to send anyone home... except those living in the east... becasue to go any other way would mean i have to make some big round to get home...more petrol wasted.... moere money spent.... so can i ask is it fair that i spent my moeny and petrol for others, when there is still public transport available?

Honestly.. i don't mind the ocassional lifts home... if it is on the way... but can the "others" please spare a thought for the driver?
Petrol is not cheap nowadays.... it is getting more expensive... and i am managing the expenses of the car on my own... so isn't it quite unfair that i have to spend moeny for you all?

To be fair... i am not airing this over one incident.... it is becasue of many incidents that i choose to air it out....
I won't blame anyone though... because from the way i see it... only another driver who own a car can see the real issue around....
From friends to colleagues.... to army friends... so far none ever realise what are the drivers going through... but i am glad... i have driver friends who do sympathise with this situation... because they have been through it too.... and sometimes it is them who gave me hope that there are still kind souls around...

Just take my PC as an example... really know how to "make human".. that's why i am willing to lend him my car... no problem.... i even sent him home before... evne though he live in Yishun...

Sometimes... it is not to say that people like me... we are greedy for something... money is not the main issue here... in case you all are wondering... it is the thought... or little act of kindness that speaks the volume....
Money... i also have....so please don't talk to me about money over this issue...

I have brought this issue up in my blog before... it is not something new.... just want to refine it ....

In anyway.... my thoughts... as they are... are meant for some thinking....reflection....self-enlightenment..... i don't direct it at anyone alone.... so take it yourself... neagatively or positively... it's up to you....

Anyway... the whole day was also spent quite boringly.... i took on the role of a Bridgae Commander... don't ask me why or how i do it.... i have no idea what to do... and since i am the highest rank holder amongst my pals... i got the job...
But basically... i just coordinate 3 battalions to engage some red land army.... through war gaming... with my Generals skills... haha...

But in the end... due to time constriants... it was cut short... and it could be said we won...becasue we achieved our objective... haha....

That's about all that happened today...

A strange thing to add... i couldn't find my baby fish le.... i think it is either eaten by the parent fish, or suck up the filter... or hiding somewhere... or maybe the shrimps took it away....
Oh well... wait till i finsh my fish book... then can better rear the fishes....

Oh yar.... myabe i will be honet further here... actually why i agreed to go to the arcade today... (when i normally wouldn't), is because i got a motive....
I wanted to use my $5 TS voucher... which is about to expire le...end of this month... so i went to the TS at PS to get a DVD.. bought "Daisy"... the show which iw anted to watch... but noone wanted to watch.... haha...
So well.. finally got the DVD le....
SO normally... given that i am actually quite tired after booking out... and the next day still got a long session... i would never had agreed to go out man....

Damm... now i still have 2 X $5 voucher from Times bookshop.... also expire end of this month.... sian... got to find a way to use it soon le...maybe buy the Vincent Ng's wu ling mi ji... haha...

Oh well... got to go rest le... long day tomorrow....

Staying out....

Well... decided to stay out throuhgout le... then Friday take off.... cool... that means i something like on off this week too.... at least no need to go back camp.... not that i want to...at least for this period... because my CSM comfirm in a very bad mood.... he in danger of loosing his rice bowl liao.... had some clashes with the law.... well.. i shall spare the details...
But well... all the best man.... just hope all is well....

Think i forgot to mention this.. but a few days ago.... my tank suddenly got a young little fish.... i still haven't found out whose kid is that... but well... it's a joy to see live spawning... in your very own tank....
Thus i bought a book on fishes .... and will be eriously learning more about professional fish rearing... then at least can help to make life... haha...

Hmm... today nothing much... whole day at PLC there... doing some really boring war-gaming.... something like playing C&C.. just that in a much dead form....
Oh well... can't reveal much.... but it is seriously boring...

Coming to yesterday... it was Nigel's 21st Birthday celebration.... but his birthday actually falls during one of the weekdays.... but well... the guys are not free....
Anyway.. i actually went to do a last minute gift shopping before the celebration itself... after i realise form my class.... no more guys going le... other than me and our ex-classmate Bernard.... dammm sian man... like always outing i am the most "on" one.... kao...
But actually most fo them got their reasons... mostly military... so well.. no choice... haiz... who ask me to be on off....

Anyway... went PS to shop alone.... walk from shop to shop... then in the end settle everything at Times bookshop... got a really exqusive and nice pen... plus my fish book.... haha.... kill 2 birds with 1 stone...
Then after that i went straight to the venue.... "Liquid Kitchen" at Serangoon gardens... serach street directory cannot find... in the end make a few rounds around the area then found it...
And guess what... i reached on time... at 1800... and i was the first one there.... not even the birthday boy reached..... -_-"
Even the restaurant waiter was like asking me... isn't the thing suppose to be a 1800?

Anyway... brithday boy and gang arrived 45minutes later... then friends start to come in too....

Overall... i would say.. the place is actually very nice ... especially for holding private parties.... very classic.... very cool... very young kind of place... and not to mention... the food is good....
Managed to catch up with some classmates too.... catch up on old times.... haha....

Can just imagine man... ten years down the road... maybe there will be another gathering... and i guess it will be a much different experience le...

After the cake and stuffs.... i left at 2200 plus.... because today got to go PLC early...
So.. that's about all le....

Back from duty....

Back again.... getting abit sian already... suppose to be a full week off... but keep going back camp for duty...

But well.. at least as a COS on a Saturday or off day.... i totally got nothing to do.... play DOTA.... watch DVDs.... that's about it....

Today.... after reaching home.... rested for awhile... then got to go to my Tu Er's house liao... got to help in moving house.... like not tiring.... haha...
Somemore yesterday i slept at around 0200.... watch the "100% entertainment".... Jay Chou and gang playing basketball against Mr Luo and gang... pattern more than badminton man... then morning got to wake up for flag raising... so didn't really sleep much...

And so... after lying on bed... didn't really want to go.. really tired man.... haha...

But well... a promise is a promise... and soemmore she not enough help le... how can short of the strongest man around.... Muahahaha....

And so... dragged myself there... and basically spent the whole morning till afternoon helping to shift stuffs around.... to a store warehouse and her temporary house... lucky all around the East side... near to home... so still ok... because i also used my car to help ferry people around....

And after all that's done... go home really shagged out... not enough sleep... so KO till evening le....
Then basically... watched TV all the way liao...KL jio go out i also didnt' feel like it....
And actually hor... his phone call is the thing that woke me up from my rest lar....-_-"

Oh well.... then later actually suppose to go Woodlands there fetch my mum... but due to some complications.. in the end she took cab back... like not expensive... reach around 0100.... got midnight charge and stuffs.... should have called me to fetch instead man....

Anyway... that's all...

Oh yar... got a change liao... Monday no more guard duty.... Yay.. but kena arrow anthing thing... got to go PLC for some wargaming stuffs.... Monday till Thursday....
Good thing is can stay out... but the problem is that.... my car.... abit the problem....
Hiaz... no choice... reach before 0700... go home after 1900....

Just came back from watching "Miami Vice" at the new Cathay Cinehouse building with 3 of my other fellow mortar specs.... first time i've been there since it's opening.... qutie a nice place... feels very class... but alot fo shops not opened... and i don't think there is a foodcourt... only saw some small food outlets... so in the end had my dinner at the "Shilin Snack" shop.... ordered the "oyster noodle" plus the chicken cutlet....

Man... the cutlet, or better known as "ji pa"... really reminds me of the training in Taiwan... where at that point of time...after walking around the jungle for a few days... you will actually find that the "ji Pa', or actually any other food that the ninja van or bikes comes along to sell to you, taste so much nicer... so heavenly good... haha...

Those were the days....

Anyway... i would say "Miami Vice" was quite a nice show.. especially for those who are into action and violence... gun violence especially... got alot of head shots...
But one thing i really disagree with... is that in the show... Gong Li actually have some sex and bath scenes with the Colin Farrer....
As a fellow chinese... i think it's actually quite degrading for her to do such a show...
Furthermore... she is from China... a rather conservative country.... what would her fellow country mate think man....

But well.. it's her show... tiw as a breakthrough to be able to be casted in a hollywood movie... so i guess sometimes, some sacrfices are required...

Still... i disagree with her "wild" actions ....
Oh yar... one more thing... she should improve her english more.... it'a about there... but it can be better...

Anyway... not bad on the whole.... then after that i took the MRT home le... didn't want to drive....

Sometimes... i feel i should take more public transport.... miss the feeling of stoning around in the MRT and buses.... haha....


Well... morning wise... come back almost immediately knock out le.... tired man... yesterday only slept like one hours plus during my duty... couldn't sleep well....so basically come back, knock out all the way till movie time...

Actually i didn't reaqlly agree to watch this movie... but because my fellow spec took my answer as a yes... and they book ticket liao... so no choice... have to go le..
Given a choice, i would prefer...as always... horror movies.... Muahahaha...

Oh well... next time then...

Tomorrow... or should i say... later i got COS duty... will be reaching camp at around 0600 to relieve my fellow OPC driver colleague... think i try not to sleep too much now... tomorrow got whole day to sleep.... wanted to buy some DVDs go there watch... but not free to go around to find.... oh well... survive on some old DVDs first ba... haha...

2nd day of my long off....

Just finished watching "Liao Zhai"... think the show would be pretty interesting... anyway i have always been into ghostly shows....

Anyway... continue later... friend jio play DOTA... haha...

Back from DOTAing... now is 0127HRS le.... haha...

Hmm... about the day... basically... i wasted my whole day on the car servicing... the Nissan Sunny....woke up in time to go to the service center around 1100.... and waited all the way till around 1700 then collected the car... and it still cost me a whopping $454.05 .... diao ....
I was like reading, then sleeping, then drinking free milo in the customer lounge... then buay tahan go ubi there walk walk... ate lunch.... walk around somemore...just keep walking adn walking... then go back... read somemore... then sleep again...
I practically wasted my whole day liao....

One thing though... the car felt much different... they did a comprehensive servicing... think got change alot of fluids... so the gear transmissions and the steering wheel felt much better....
Well.... all the money for that...

After servicing... went home, then went to Bedok interchange NTUC to buy some stuffs... eat dinner too... then after that went home to watch "Liao Zhai"....

That's about all for my day.... wanted to go gym also no time le... swimming then too late.... haiz... think i try to squeeze a swimming session tomorrow morning ba...before i go for guard duty....

First day of my long off week......

Nothing much on today... normal routine.... wake up alte.. watch TV, play DOTA.... watch anime....

Well.. except that i went swimming in the night... around 1930 like that.... was a sort of last minute thingy....
Went there to swim 30 laps.... come out taht time qutie tired.... think too long didn't exercise... plus i didn't eat much the whole day...]

Actually i had a training plan of my own... today suppose to go gym, then after that go swim....
But because i woke up late... plus iw atch to watch TV.... and so.... drag until no mood to go .... haha...
But lucky still got go swimming...

And after swimming... came home to watch "Liao Zhai"... hoping to catch Raine Yang... but well... she not in first episode....
But still, i think the show qutie promising... try to catch as many as possible... especially during now... or else go back camp no need to catch le... haha...


Planning to go gym tomorrow... but i guess in teh afternoon only... ebcause i got to send my brother's Nissan Sunny for servicing tomorrow... may take quite some time...

Well...see how ba...

Been thinking through my life while swimming... that's one thing i like about swimming... you become your own world in the water... because you can't hear anybody... nor can you see as clearly... so while immersing in my won world.. i started to think through my life....

I realised... throughout my whole journey.... i have made quite a few mistakes here and there.... some i try to hide it.... some i ignore it... and some i run away from it....
Some are silly mistakes... soem are embarassing.... some are downright stupid.... soem are just so not me....
I really wish i ahve a time machine to go back in time to change it all.... because i do feel for the mistakes even up till now....

But i guess... it is only human to err... and these memories serves as a lesson to be learnt....
But i want to do one thing.... and that is to start afresh....

Gone are the mistakes i have made... and let my service to the nation atone for my past mistakes....
I want to start life as a new man.... don't wana think about the mistakes anymore.... the past.... be gone with the ashes....

Haha... sound like some very "big" thing.... but well.... actually just trying to clear all the air around me too.... that is if i have offended anyone in anyway.... let's just say... be it whoever's fault.... we shall let it past.... and start life fresh.... good deal?

Long Break Ahead... ^_^

Just came back from an ODAC gathering at Marina South there... though it seemed more like a VS gathering.. considering the fact that there is more Victorians than SRJC ODACians there.... haha... even TYS and ALvin Gan went.... although they are not ODACians.... and ALvin is not even from SRJC....

Pretty good... long time never see alot of them... actually is only the few of them.. becasue as mentioned... majority are Victorians... whom i have been seeing for so long... haha...

Ate quite abit... tried out some new stuffs... like frying scramble egg on the pan... egg with the chicken.... egg and bread... basically cooked alot of eggs.... trying to build up some proteins... so that i can do some major mucle workout this coming week....
Did i mention? Oh well... i am on off the whole of next week.... it'a a ATEC off.... till 250906... next monday... but i got 3 duties in between this days.... Guard Commander this coming Wednesday, COS this coming Friday, and Guard Commander again the next Monday....
The Wedensday duty... is actually i take from my fellow spec to do one... because i see he kena quite alot of stuffs liao.. so want to help abit... but it is also for me to clear my duties too...
We actually kena quite abit of duties this whole month... because we didn't go for Safkra... so well.... no choice.... bao ka liao all the duties.... but in a way is it also good... help to clear our duties....

Anyway,after eating and some chit chatting.... all decide to go home le... except the SHG.... they want to watch soccer.. so i sent them to some place in Serangoon... then go home le....
No point for me joining them... because i would basically go there stone.... not into soccer.....

Just to do some recap.... i actually just got home this morning... because i was the COS yesterday... so Friday came home... but Saturday morning went back for my duty...
But basically... jsut like the whole of last week... was playing DOTA most of the time... watch TV.... the BDO was my PC... so we were like playing DOTA together... haha....
Then i also had my IPPT taken last week... been quite some time since i last did physical maintenace.... but i think i was still in a okay form... i passed my IPPT... because of my SBJ... and my 2.4km manage to make it under the silver timing.... was 11min 36s... phew.... phyiscal fitness was really down man... but iw as surprise my pull up still ok... did 08... although usually do 10 one....

Well.... i have the whole of next week to do some serious physical training... will be hitting the gym and track and swimmming pool everyday le.... training for gold man.... $200..... haha....

That's about it le... go watch TV le....

Busy weekend....

Today on off... finally got some free time to sit down and blog... play game... watch anime... and it's actually a last minute request one... yesterday night then suddnely request from my PC about it... and the good thing is... he readily agreed to it... haha... on lar...

Talking about my PC...jsut a few things to mention about him... since he is going to leave us soon le..posting out in October to OCS...
A very nice and steady guy.... had been a very strong leader in our platoon, adn i would say passioante about his work.... hmm.. adn a very nice friend...
Still remember that time lend him my car... got 1/4 tank left only.. but when i came back from my empring, he return with a 3/4.. and he actually went to fill it up twice... and stillr eturn me money for using my cash card and coupons... when in fact he don't have to... the petrol he added is more than enough le...
Then i think just recently... he borrowed ym car to go home while i was the COS... then he didn't fill it up.. then just steadily treat me to Pizza Hut... we ordered into camp...

Really damm nice and "atuo" friend.... guess it will be kinda sad le when he actually post out.... rare to have such friends around me....

Well... back to my busy weekend...

Starting with Friday... went out with my parents to go eat... and bought another fish tank... this time a bigger one... because we wanted to farm our own water plant.. so bought all the essential items... plus an extra pump... the water plants....plus some suckers and shrimps... and it all adds up to be about the same price as the ready made one we bought the other time....

Feels abit kena "qiao"(knock) like that that.... bigger tank... more plants.... a better pump adn extra pump... so much more things...s till same price...
Had we knew it... should have just made our own one right from the start...
But the bastard thing is that... from the start... the owners actually kept persuading us to make our own... saying it is troublesome lar... expensive... and whatever crap....
Then now when we actually set it up.. it is quite easy.... so they really FOS man...

Oh well... i guess they want to get rid of the tank too... so push to us lor...
Never mind... now we learn....
In life...every mmistake we make is a learning opportunity... so grab the chance to learn more...

Saturday... was my dad's birthday.... but i went for the Unisim Open house in the afternoon... alone... thanks to a last minute pang seh by Mr Luis Ngan... and also Mr Tan....
Oh well.... it's fine with me... i still went ahead... because i need to go see what my future plans can be myself....
Sat in for 2 talks... one on the Infocom and technology something something.. basically alot of the computer and business thingy one... then also went for another culinary talk... haha....

Actually i was quite interested in the culinary one... got very good prospect i would say... and i am interested in culinary... so i think it's good that i can study something i can relate to.... can keep in view...
Then i also intersted in a double major one, IT and business... direct honours... good prospects too... can get in then it will be good....

Didn't sign up anything yet... considering these options...

After that... went to join my family for a birthday treat at East Coast Park there... initally wanted to suit to the SHG... by going to The Chervon there to eat.. because i meeting them there later to sing KTV... but then they just reached Parkway to play pool... so in the end we changed to East Coast Park there... ate at some "fish village" restaurant... was a new restuarant, but the food there is very good... especially the crab.. very fresh... it's those type u pull, then the whole chunk of meat will come out together... very good...veyr fresh haha...
We even got the discount card.. some promotional thingy for it's new opening....

After that... i went to meet SHG at Parkway, then we all went to "The Chervon" together.... never been to the place... although i was a member since getting my 3 stripes... went to check it out abit... the KTV rooms were fully booked... so we went to check out the bar... they drank some beer.. i watched TV.... was showing the movie "I am Sam"... i found it to be a very touching show... since it was shown to me during one of my english classes... and the Dakota Fanning is really there meh... ^_^

After chilling around for awhile, we went for the available KTV room... then sing song hula all the way till around 0245... not bad lar... at least it is considerably cheaper than most KTVs... then the place also qutie nice...
Then basically... after that... sent all fo them home... then went home...

On Sunday.. suppose to go play basketball... but really too tired from the late night the day before... alarm ring le cannot wake up... so got to pang seh them.... tired leh... last to reach home...
This day... nothing much le... basically just sleep half the day....and go out eat with my parents..

Today.. also around the same thing... because i guess i am the only one on off... so well... chill at home... blog.. watch anime... play DOTA... haha....
That's about all....

Booking in tomorrow morning... then this Saturday i got COS... haiz.... oh well... better than weekday one... haha...

Boring week.....

Back again... tomorrow is an off for my company... so we all got to book out early today... actually is 1200 can go le, but because of my car.... stayed till 1900 then went home.....

Bacically... we did nothing this whole week, except this morning got IPPT training... the rest of the time is really literally do nothing...
But for a few of us... we did the same thing throughout the week.... chiong DOTA... in office... haha... ^_^

Better don't let anyone from MSD or the MP to see this... haha...

Anyway.. as mentioned... we literally spent the whole day chionging DOTA... everyday.. up till late night... haha... got 6 computers somemore... 3 v 3....

OK.. shan't say too much details le... just that i think i wasted my entire week on DOTA liao... initally want to do some training also no more le... thanks to it...

Really addicted le.... think have to go to a rehabilation center for it....

But then again.. i also go nothing much to do... so i guess... no harm?

Haha.. oh well... maybe this Saturday go for the open house then maybe i can see my future more clearly...

Long time no blog....

Been some time since i last blogged... but actually is only like 1 week never blog only... haha...

Well... today... as usual... is slack and rest day... nothing much...

For the past few days.. and last weekend... been sleeping very early... and thus waking up very late... often slept at 0200 or 0300 like that... either playing DOTA... or going out with the SHG... till very early.. the next day...

Think my biological clock abit mess up liao.... haha...

But seriously... think got to stop all this alte night outings le... maybe once in awhile i'm still fine with it... but i don't think it is good to do this every week.... especially if it will mean me going home the last everytime...
Moderation is the word here... i guess....

Think i am quite hooked onto DOTA too... haha... got to keep it down too....

Well... my next few weeks won't anything happening much... because 4/5 of my battalion is going Sakra Indopura.... for support only the mortar and ATGM platoon not involved... so i guess we will be mainly be doing physical trainings and stuffs only... and yar... and alot of duties for the remaining specialists.... sian...

Oh yar... forgot to mention... last Thursday there was a simple ceremony for me and the ATGM PS(NS) on our pormotion to 2SG... it was a shock.. becuause during the last parade.. one of the PC just started annoucing about it to the company, then our OC presneted us with the ranks....
Haha... kinda cool... and nice... at least it's officially recognised now...
So now... 2SG LIM DE WEI liao.... Wahahahaha....
But they abit giam... only give one... still got to buy 5 more myself...becuase i got 6 uniforms...
And one more thing... on the morning itself... it was my battalion's COC parade.. our CO going off to some higher level le... now coming in a new CO... previously our bridgae S3....
Kinda sad to see our CO leave... but well.... there is never a feast that never spilts... so well...
Anyway i don't think the new CO will affect us much... afterall, our mono is coming to an end soon le.... haha... going to prepare for NSmen life le....

Think i will be booking in tomorrow morning.. since also nothing much le... haha...
