Yesterday....Everything not right day....

Haiz.... yesterday was just not my day...

Haiz...

Everything that could go wrong just went wrong...

Haiz....

Start with the first even of the day... my IVP event... Discus... starting 1615hrs at Gombak stadium...

Did standing throw for my first 2 practice throw... everything was fine..

Then for the first throw... I did standing throw as well... hit 27m plus.... still ok.. not my best yet... and haven't hit my PB....

This distance.. as it turns out... got me into the final 8... because for my subsequent 5 throws... I flunked them all.. while doing the rotation...

Haiz.... and it didn't helped that it rained after i did my first throw... we all have to wait under the tent for around half an hour or more....

The only consolation is that... I finally got into the top 8, after all this years of competing in this event... my closest last time was the 13 position... but at least this time.. I am finally earning points for the team... with a 8th position...
My VS junior..Ryan... who is also throwing for SIM... got 7th... after just going for one training session.. and the long absence from throwing.. he threw just a few cm better than me... so did the 6th position...

Basically... after the rain... my rotation either hit the net... or it didn't got to my PB... which was around 29m to 30m....

The thing is... if i have jsut done standing throw all the way... I'll defintely get to 6th positiona dn above... becasuse my standing throw can hit over 28m... the 6th position was still at 27m plus...

But all along... i was hoping to hit my PB with the rotation...so that I could get at least a 5th position... and so i stuck with it although I somehow couldn't get it right... I don't know why.... during training... everything was just fine... but at the competition ground... everything just went wrong... I couldn't feel my rotation going right...

Really felt so damm wasted... I could have reached higher positions...

Is it the rain? Is it the pressure? Is it because got others looking? Or is it just because it's in the day? The pit was wet????
My training has always been after 1900hrs... when it's dark... did that affected me?
And why didnt' I just do another standing throw... and get a better position????

Why????

I was pondering over this questions.... while encountering the next few wrong events....

This photo doesn't really suit the mood of my blog now... but I just put it up... this is the SIM Track & Field Team...

After my competition... I was suppose to meet my Japanese Class classmates for dinner.. because yesterday was our E3 test... I took the test on Thursday due to my competition... and so we arranged last Saturday that they would inform me where they are going...

All the while... I didn't receive any SMS or what... so i thought they are still doing the test... and so i rushed down to the class.. only to find that they have all left... -_-

And so... i called one of them up...the one who is suppose to inform me... Haiz... then he told me they are at Central... Clark Quay....

At first.. I have no idea where that is... checked the street directory.. found a "Central Mall", just behind ChinaTown point..

And so... I though it was that.. and drove over...

The first wrong thing was that there was some road construction going on in the area, and so a road that i need to take to reach there was blocked... and in the end I have to make a big turn to get there...
I reached Chinatown area... and similarly.. there were some construction going on... and some roads are only one way.... and whatever nonsense... which caused me to drive round and round the same area... just because i miss the car-park.. and entered a lane which cannot cut to the other side because of the constructions...

Alot of things just blocked my way.... and I spent quite abit of time trying to find the building... my mood getting lousier by the minute... and I still couldn't find any "Central Mall"...

In the end, i went to park at ChinaTown point... then walked around to find the "Central Mall"... couldn't find any... only see some old buildings... and that's when it suddenly struck me that "The Central" was at Clark Quay that side... not here.... and i just suddenly recalled where it was...
Clark Quay....

Haiz.... having already parked my car... $2 per entry.. I was just so angry with myself... and with all the things that went wrong... I just called them to say I'm not going anymore....
Afterall.. I think they've forgotten about me.. didn't even bothered to inform me when they are going, or that they've left...

Haiz....
I had wanted to go home already... so i thought i should call my brother to ask if he needs a lift... he needed another 45minutes... and since I'm in the area.. decided to wait for him..and so... I went to eat MacDonald's at ChinaTown Point... eating by myself... all the while pondering over all the events that went wrong for the day....

Haiz.... finally got some sort of closure.. began to see things more clearly... then my brother called to me to go get him...

As i drove out of the car-park.... due to the constructions on the road... I couldn't get to the lane that could get me to AYE... and so i decided to hit CTE then link there... only to realise that I've already over-shot the exit from the carpark there....

And so... I just decide to drive along the road see how... when to amusement... I spotted the "Central".. it was just a 2 minutes drive away... and I just didn't know that.. didn't see on the map... didn't realise.... just didn't know...

Haiz.........................................

Seeing the building just make me feel like slapping myself...

And that wasn't all..... I reached all the way to Dhouby Ghaut area.. then decided to get to AYE from there... and ended up being stuck in a stupid jam.. think some car got into an accident at the KPE exit... so it caused a jam at the ECP side.. all the way to where I was...

The thing is.. the exit to AYE was clear... but since there's only 1 small slip road leading to the either the ECP or AYE exit... I was still stuck in the jam... waited for more than 20 minutes before I was able to clear.. hit the AYE... and drive to NUS to get my brother...

Haiz.................

Yesterday was really one of the lowest point of my life....

Haiz..........

But at least today... after a good night's rest... things began to feel better... but my mood was still kinda low...

By the way... saw the Toyota Allion today... at Hougang Point... while eating lunch after playing basketball... it is sort of like the 1.5l version of Mark X... qutie nice and classy... and got alot of useful features... like the backseat can fold down... the gear stick is the type I like....
It's about the same price as Rush.... should have gotten this car instead man...
The thing is.. this car came out only after i bought the Rush....

Haiz... I guess it's all fated man...

Haiz....

Go rest liao.. think too much also not good...
