VS unite, we show our might... Boy's style...

Recently i received an email from my long time never meet friend, Edwin... regarding some VS forum this coming Wednesday... think it's about the merger with VJC or something... then will have girls in VS next time...

Honestly... i don't support the idea.. as will all true blue Victorians... it's just too weird to accept... imagine girls in our PE T-shirt??? (As mentioned by Heok Kia...)

Totally weird...

But after having been out from school for so long... and learning the ways of life in the real world... i do realise one thing...

Change... being the only constant in the world... is bound to take place every now and then... and being in a real world... there will definitely be changes, for the better, but at the expense of tradition...

Take VS in the beginning... if i hasn't evolved from a Malay boy's school to waht it is today.... i wouldn't have the chance to gain what i have from VS.... to meet some of the best friends i have... to feel what it is to be called a true blue Victorian....

Our world is a money making based society... it's that way no matter how you try to sway away form it... money making is the basis for most things.... so if being a single-sex school isn't making much profits... i believe the change will definitely take place... sooner or later...

As much as i would want to preserve the very tradition that has grown me...made me what i am today.. i know what i say is only feather to what the board of directors will eventually do....

And so.... even if i can't change reality... at least i know... the memories of the tradition will stay with me... for as long as i can remember...
For as long as it last....i am proud... that i was once called.... a true son of Victoria School.....

And i'll try to make it this Wednesday night... to tell them that...


On a lighter note... kinda happy... finally found the canotnese sub theme song for "Hidden Treasures"... the something moon or moon something one....found out that it was sung by Gigi Leung... no wonder the voice so nice... just too bad that i can't download it... it's from their website...
But at least i know who sing it... next time it should be out on YouTube... ^_^
