Yesterday and Today (before 0000 of the real today...)

Just came back from visiting my Jiu Jiu adn some other relatives..... came home so late because my mother and her siblings were like talking a whole year of topics..... and i and my dad sit there and stone....

Anyway.... start with yesterday first (taking now as today.. 19.02.2005)

Yesterday was quite a fulfiling day... firstly my whole family went to meet my Shu Shu and family at his food outlet, "Indine", at Suntec there.... he invited us to go eat.... so go lor... free food~~~

I must say.... the food there is quite good.... although it is vegetarian.... but they make the dish so UNvegetarian... then very nice.... especially liked the sphagetti and fried noodle and lasksa... and the snacks.... the dessert also not bad....
The price is abit more expensive.... but well.. next time try to drag friends to go there try try lor.... and by the way.. i don't have any special relative discount card or something... so cannot ask for discounts....

Then after that... think my Shu Shu wanted to meet me and my brother alone to sort of teach us some stuffs... so we left with him to go Penisular there buy book... my parents went home first...

Along the way... he began to talk to us about stuffs...especially the working world.. and briefly tell us about his company... share his experiences.... actually i think the whole thing is more for my brother... because he wanted to join the NetWork Marketing(NWM) thingy... so maybe he wanted to "kao dao" him... then get him to join WBG to learn stuffs....
Personally... i feel that he is very sincere in trying to groom us to be successful leaders of some sort.... think it's some sort of "ying shui si yuan".... because last time my dad helped his family alot finacially... because his life before he became the chairman of WBG is actually quite hard.... family was poor... then he gone through alot of hardship and stuffs before he finally succeed now.... so think he wanted to help my dad by helping us....
I am totally ok with him.. just that sometime really don't like his talking attitude..... alittle too direct.... oh well... heck.... forgive and forget.....

He brought us to "The Success Shop"... the whole shop is full of books on beging successful.. and books written by famous motivators like "Anthony Robbins" and stuffs...
He explained to us the reason behind him giving the books to us... then chose around 10 books for us... each book is $9.90... so basically he spent around $100 worth of knowledge on us....
Anyway.. he mentioned that his company going to "shou kou" (requsite or soemthing... forgot how to spell..) the shop.... so it's like the money spent on the knowledge will eventually come back to the "Lim" family...
I must say.. that is really very generous of him..... anyway.. what's $100 to him.... when he is like earning millions....

I went on to choose 2 books for myself.... and pay myself one... don't want to impose on him too much...
Chose 2 leaderships book...something i should have book when i was the ODAC President.... so that i could have learn better methods to control the organisation... and also it could have helped in my "Leadership" lecture to my then juniors....
But well... i guess it's never too late to start now.... can use the knowledge to get myself into OCS.....

After that... my brother went off to meet his gf.... and my parents brought me to Beach Road there to find trekking boots for my MK trip....
Abit regret.... last time go Ophir should have bought liao... then can also use for normal going out.... because i don't really have a pair of proper "go out" shoes.... mostly going to spoil track shoes....
But well.... as i have said.. it's never too late to start now....

Check out the whole floor of shops....found alot of shoes.... btu i didn't really specifically focus on any brand or stuff.... just anyhow look abit... and also learn from the shop keepers on choosing this type of shoes....
I was thinking of around $100 one.. then got some "Gotex" at the side base to prevent water from entering the shoe... and the whole shoe should be water reisitant....sole must also be thick and rough....
Also wanted to find a water-bag bag.... got the designs i want... but the price very high.... not really worth it.. maybe go to PS there buy... but well.. then again... starting to wonder is it worth it or not..... last time should have bought... got alot fo use for water-bag during ODAC activities.... wasted....
Then my the old water-bag keep leaking...
But well... i guess it isn't too late to buy one new one now? ^_^

And so.... bascially left the area empty handed.... because jsut wanted to got here see see first...

Then we went home... rest awhile.... then got alot of my Dad's friends coming over for some sort of gathering.... to eat on the TSB....
My Dad likes "re nao"... so he invited them over for dinner... then they began chatting and stuffs... about their childhood and stuffs... me and my mum just eat quietly lor.... no common topics....

After that.. they went out for some chat... while my cousins ( shun bian invite over to eat one) came to eat..... then i go entertain them.. while forcing myself to eat abit ... i was quite full after the first round with my parents and my dad's friends....

After that... my Dad's friend leave le... then my parents also bring my cousins to go visit my Er Gu (who lives nearby).... didn't go because i tired le.... out whole day...

Then i just start to clear up the stuffs... wash my TSB and the dishes.... then clean the table....
After that... swept the floor... and mopped them clean... becuase all the frying makes the floor dirty....
Did all that while watching anime on "Central"... so took a longer time.... do until my parents come back from sending my brother back to camp... already around 0100 plus le....

After that went to bath...and too tired to blog... so just went to bed...adn watched DVD till 0400 before sleeping..... haha.... very long never enjoy myself le..... anyway no work now... so can sleep late....

Phew.... finally on today.....

Today (the "today" before 000 of the real today) is a easier day.... today woke up very late.... because of yesterday's movie screening..... so just woke up.. ate my lunch of yesterday's leftovers.... then slack around... watch TV.... and when my parents came back from dono where.... we went to Queensway to look at the trekking boots again....

Saw some more types... then also found alot within suitable range.... all around $100....
Saw 2 very good ones... but dono which to buy.... because the price range is quite close... and the 2 boots are also quite good...
Then suddenly just thought that i should go back to Beach Road there to find the boots that i saw today... and check out the price.... because by right... the price of goods at Beach Road is cheaper because their stall rental is much cheaper..... so finally decided that we go check out Beach Road there... then if the price is higher thatn Queensway there... thenw e go Queensway buy....
Luckly my parents around.. so they can fetch me run around... if i take public tranport... comfirm go one place find and settle on it le....

After that... went to the Tiong Bahru hawker center there to eat a light dinner... before moving off to my Jiu Jiu's house for dinner....
Basically... i went there to eat... and watch TV.... and get bored there....
Firstly... it's the adult's world... because i am the only kid around there.... then got some more of my mother's siblings went over for the gathering... so tehy too began talking of their childhood and stuffs... from your kid to my kid.... then also dono talk on what... talk so long.... and i just sit there and watch TV.. watch until damm sian... then look out of the window... saw the empty carpark next to the building ... and an idea struck me..... Heez....

And so...because my Dad also quite bored... we went out on the context of go walk walk... but actually is my dad go teach me abit on auto-transmission vehicle(ATV)... and for me to experience abit ... taking my ATV lessons next week....
I just went up and down the multi-storey carpark... tried some parking.... not mcuh problems.... i too skilled le.... haha....

And around half an hour later... we went back up because we though maybe they going to go le....
But well... we were wrong.... they were still talking..... and so... i continue watching TV and slack there.......

At around 1230 le... they actually say want to go le.... but still continue talking...
Feeling really fed-up and bored already... i signalled to my mum by kicking her leg lightly.... and she got the signal.... so finally.... we all can go home le..... Phew....

So reached home... came online to blog.. while tring to find L and HK... but they both not online... so cannot discuss about the MK trip... maybe tomorrow ba....
