Advance Adventuerer.... Awesome~~~ So is the WI-FI.....

I'm blogging from home now... in Sabah... something which was never before possible... haha... because we don't have internet connection, or phone lines for that matter.. at home... only at the shop... But now... thanks to this new technology... Haha.... i can.... Awesome~~~

Wi-Fi... haha... but the speed's abit slow though... but well... it's acceptable...

And so... as with just now... I've completed my Advance Adventurer course... now i can dive to 30 meters... did some underwater navigation... and alot of marine identification... poisonous marine life and so on...

The only thing i haven't saw is a turtle.... kinda wasted.... throughout my 4 days of diving.... I've never seen one....

The other group of Open water divers in training managed to see one though.... while i was doing my advanced dive.... darn.....

But well.. i managed to see some beautiful creatures as well... the lion fish... devil fish.. sting rays... even hermit crabs.... haha...

Anyway... started my course yesterday.... and finished today.. 2 days course... yep....

To be honest though... when i started my first dive of my first day of advance lesson.. I was beginning to feel abit bored... maybe it's because the instructor was abit boring at first... because it's 3 dives of marine identification... so i also felt bored...

And also... it's at the same island as before... so yar... kinda boring...

But slowly... as i began to see more spectacular sights... it got abit better... though i was kinda thinking that the advance course is abit like.. hmm... cheat money... haha...

On the 2nd day of 2 dives... things got much better... dive to 30 meters... but the thing is... at 30meters depth.. there is not much of life form there... not much corals... not much fishes... only some small fishes here and there... not very interesting...

Part of the lesson involves me doing maths equations on the boat before the dive, and under water at 30m, to test whether my brain is still working fine... due to the build up of nitrogen or something... haha... it is suppose to affect brain activity for those who cannot take it...

The funny thing is... i took 34s on the boat... 30s because i did once and recheck... then got a misinterpretation of the signs... so took another 4s to edit...

Underwater, at 30m.... i took 9s.... haha... but well... the equation was much easier... and i didn't bother to check... haha...

And after that.. it was more marine identification and sight seeing... followed by some simple navigation... and more sight seeing... and yup.... I graduated... haha....

Hmmm... on the whole.. it's much easier than open water.... but got abit boring for me...

Think next time i should just go soemwhere else to dive... maybe get to see different stuffs... and I'll be sure to invest in a underwater camera case... the sights underwater are just too beautiful to be left out man...

Kinda wasted i didn't have any shots for my this trip.... next year i will dive again... haha....

Yeah.. tomorrow I'm going for my advanced adventurer diving course... Kinda miss diving... LOL...

It was a very last minute decision.. in fact... I just called up the company just now... and they happen to have vacancies... so I just go for it... Mai tu liao....

Was in abit of a dilemma just now... but then again... well... heck... just go man... I don't get so many chances to dive....
And throughout the course... I will be doing 5 dives... haha... Awesome... think I'm going to rent a camera.... haha... take some nice pictures....

Hmm.. that's about all... got to go... haha.... go back rest and prepare le...

Boring....

Suddenly... life seem to have gotten rather boring for me... LOL...

I long to dive again.... damm.... I guess it's addictive.... haha....

But it's not a cheap sports... LOL... although it's cheaper to do so in Sabah... it's still not as cheap...

Hmmm... think i am considering the advanced adventurer open water course.. let's me dive up to 30 meters... and have some more advanced skills...

Before you go saying it's my fault... well.. it already burnt before my flight landed... so it's not my fault... haha....

Kinda a sad thing.. because I come to this hypermarket quite often whenever I am in Sabah... lots of stuffs....

And now.... oh well... luckily there's many hypermarkets in Sabah....


The rather amusing thing is that... the lighted signboard at the entrance of the road is still lighted up... saying the hypermarket is opened... LOL.... didn't take a picture of it though...
Perhaps it would have been better if they had turned it off... save some cost... because they've lost alot of investment already...

A New Certified Diver... ^_^

That's me.... Muahahaha....

Finally... a SSI certified open water diver....Yesterday.... Woohoo... can dive to 18 meters.... ^_^

I went for my last day of training for open water diving... yesterday... haha...

Getting ready for my 3rd dive... or 1st dive of the 2nd day... this time got to take pictures myself.. because the suppose-to-be my buddy is not here.... LOL...


Suiting up for my dive with my instructor... this picture was taken by a kind French guy, who is doing a leisure dive with the same company...



This is my full suit... with the BCD (Buoyancy Control Device).. goggles... respirators... everything...

Everything on... and you can start diving....This is my life-support system under the water... the tubes connecting to the oxygen tank...


My goggles... noticed that the nose area is covered as well... this is important... you need your nose for clearing your mask if water enters... also to trap air inside the goggles... so that you can see... and also to maintain the pressure of your nose.. so no water will go into your nose if you turn upside down... of which it can add to your stress level if the water enters your nose.. then you will star to breath more heavily... then more oxygen will be used up... so less time for diving...
This are my respirators... there are 2... one as a back-up... for yourself.. or your buddy.... used for you to breath in the oxygen under-water...

This is part of the BCD... can use to inflate or release the air from your BCD... allows you to float and sink accordingly...
And this is my SPG (Submersible Pressure Gauge).. used to check your oxygen level.. and also the depth you've gone too... some even have a compass in it for navigation purposes...

And as you can see.. my suit is 2.5mm thick... suitable for the warm waters of Sabah.... haha.... but not under the sun... you will sauna man...

This time... during the 3rd dive... I went all the way till 18meters... being tested on all the drills along the way.... i just had abit of problem with the emergency self ascend procedure.. always forgot to pretend to throw away my weight belt... LOL...

But still... haha... I passed~~~

During the 3rd dive... i saw alot of sea urchins... but these are not the usual round ones... this sea urchins area actually abit squarish... and they can move around with their spikes... it was totall awesome man...

The only thing i find it a real pity is that I don't have an underwater casing for my camera to take down all these beautiful and amazing sights... real pity... i can only put them in words... and i am going to need a thousand of them.... because a picture paints a thousand words... LOL..

And anyway... I passed.. haha... my instructor gave me a hand-shake underwater to signal that... LOL... and I still didn't get what he meant... haha... until i checked with him when we surfaced...

Haha... it's always better to check...

And so... took a break on the island for lunch...

Managed to take this picture of 2 monitor lizards fighting... by the way... the monitor lizards are allowed to roam freely on the island... but they mainly stick to a small area... covered by nothing.. and a small trail of water... they can still get across to us easily... And there are dozens of them around....

Then as per normal humans... some beach-goers there who had some left-over BBQ-ed chicken wings would throw the food to them... resulting in the fights... LOL...
Some kid even threw the chicken wing which hit the lizard's head.... they better be trained to run fast when these things gets furious and chase after them....

Following that, we went for our 4th dive... this time.. it is purely a leisure dive... no drills... haha.... and I joined in with the other instructor Ross... as well as 2 other leisure divers... the kind French guy who help me take my photo, as well as another guy from England.....

And I can only say... this was truly a amazing dive... there are so much more corals and fishes and all the whatever things... which i would again need a thousand words to describe them...

Truly... amazing.... awesome.. and very enjoyable.. because I'm not tested anymore on the drills... which can be quite irritating... and makes the whole dive not as enjoyable...

And surprisingly.. for this 4th dive... I was suddenly able to clear very easily... my left ear was very cooperative... haha... and i was suddenly diving quite smoothly... no more floating around or what... I somehow got the idea of using my breathing to control my buoyancy.... and was so smooth... I was going so smoothly... it made the other England leisure diver look like a noob.. because he was struggling here and there...using his hands and all.... my instructor even have to go over to assist him with his weight belts and whatever stuff...

Bet his training was too easy.... haha....

But alas... the beautiful sights was soon stopped when we have to surface... and me and my instructor went back to the island to chill.. while the rest went for their 3rd dive of the day.... My course only covers 2 dives a day...

And after a long wait.... with a heavy rain coming in... the guys are finally done.. and we raced back....

Since the boat was going quite fast... the rain drops suddenly felt like bullets against me... it was very painful... and irritating.. ans cold... because I was soaked wet and I've changed to my dry clothes... should have just wore the exposure suit.. it would have kept me warm...

And so... the 15minutes ride seem like eternity... as i braved the rain bullets and the howling wind...

After we reached... we still have to walk all the way back to the shop... because the rover we took initially to the sea-port was to be loaded fully with the diving equipments and the many tanks...
And so... in the heavy rain again... we walked back...

I'm ok... but the poor pregnant wife and mother of the French guy... they were soaked... they didn't dive... but just accompany the guy to the island with us... luckily... the England guy offered them his rain-coat... and i gave them a big black thrash bag to wear over... LOL....

Haha.. better than nothing mah... I walked back just like that leh...

And yep... that concludes the my diving trip.... haha....

Awesome.... I would love to go diving again.. but this time I'll make sure i get a water-resistant cover first... haha...

After the trip... my parents brought me to visit this giant mall of Sabah... something like Vivo... very big.. and new... called 1Borneo... quite nice... haha... maybe next time can bring the MK gang there....

My first diving experience... Awesome~~

Went for my first dive today... and it was.... WOW~~~

Ok.. first of all.. didn't blog the past few days... because I wasn't really that free... and i reach Sabah on Wednesday night quite late... I only have internet access at my dad's shop... so i couldnt get to it....

Thursday was spent resting and slacking... and checking out the dive agency... and i signed up for the course for the next day immediately.. which was yesterday...

I did the SSI course.. because it's much cheaper than PADI ones... haha.. it's the same thing... but well.. i guess it's a branding issue.... LOL

And so the whole day yesterday was spent in the classroom... doing theories and stuffs... there's even a test in the end... and i got 94%... 2 questions which I mis-interpret... and 1 the instructor didn't go through... haha...
Not bad... I was the highest in class... there's only 1 other person in the class though... haha... a nice local Indian who treated me and the instructor to lunch.... he got 80%... becasue he was nodding off in class... LOL
But cannot blame him... he lives faraway...one and a half hour's drive... so he have to wake up early to get to Kota Kinabalu itself...

And today... we set off for our first dive... at an offshore Island..... think it was call Pulau Sapi... there was a initial swim test and float on water test... I made it through quite easily...(^_^)...Well.. I've made it through the much more demanding Bronze Medallion... haha..
But the other guy couldn't.. he's got some water phobia.... and he didn't know it... until he got in the water.. and began to struggle...
And since he can't make it.. he cannot go for the dive training... and well... he have to stay on the boat...

Kinda of a pity... it would have been good to have a buddy....especially since he's such a nice guy... but still... it's also ok... at least the instructor can concentrate fully on me... haha ... made my money worth more... LOL

We began at the shallow ends of the beach first...doing drills and the basics of diving... tried breathing through the respirator... tasted pure oxygen... haha...
Basically i was drilled into clearing my mask in water... it's easier than you think.. haha... then taking off my BCD (Buoyancy Control Device) and checking the tank and tubes underwater, clearing water from my respirator.. and so on...

After that.. I went for my first dive... with my instructor... till 12 metres... and i would say... It was a true eye opener... staying underwater for so long... and seeing objects that you would normally see only on TV or books... the corals... clown fishes.... sea urchins.... you name it... haha...

And the feeling of actually gently floating around in the deep sea.... wow.... simply amazing...

But i have a small problem though... my left ear doesn't seem to be able to equalise with the outside pressure... it's a thing we have to keep doing to prevent damage to the ears... and whenever i equalise... only my right ear cleared... think there's something stuck in my left ear...

Sian... it became quite painful when i go deeper... so I had to go up abit... clear it bit by bit... then go down again...

It was worst during my 2nd dive... because I have to do drills which requires me to go up and down.... then I'll be cleared... pain...cleared again... then pain again....clear... then pain... and the cycle goes on...

But still... I enjoyed myself... haha.... though my ear's abit irritating... too much ear wax or something... LOL.....

After the first dive.. we went fort a break at a small eatery on the island... and Wow... lots of sights ... haha... alot of foreigners... Caucasians...Koreans.... haha... so you can see why...

After the break... we went for our 2nd dive... did more drills in deeper waters... but went till around 10metres only this time..

Today.... well... I'm quite at peace le.... haha... actually it was even better till the evening...

The anger's gone... and I'm kinda glad... i received an SMS from one of my colleague who wasn't present... who woke up late.... and she also sort of apologised for it... apparently after hearing from my other colleagues who came who told her i was quite disappointed with the turnout...

Oh well... that sms sort of made things much better...

But anyway... I don't stay angry for long.. LOL... But i still wouldn't dare to organise anything anymore... let them organise ba... I'll go though... haha...

Anyway... that's in the past...

Today... another relaxing day... nothing much to do... just packing of my bags.. getting ready for my trip tomorrow...

It's been some time since I went back so Sabah.... so I'm quite looking forward to it... go learn diving... maybe buy a pair of blades... haha... as in roller blades....

But I think I will also miss the Singapore life... LOL... basketball ... friends....

Over there... think it will be hard for me to play basketball... and I don't have any friends there...

But well... it still will be a good trip.... haha...

So just now... i went to play basketball at 1900hrs... at the CC near my house... haven't recovered from my sore buttock muscles from the badminton session... and it's affecting my runs and jumps.... but i still manage to get quite abit of scores on a 4V4 match.... me with 3 whom I think are Phillipinos or something... and they quite short... so we had some disadvantage.. against another 4 more well-balanced and skillful team... though we lost... I'm ok with it...haha.. anyway I can't play well today....

It was a play more so to satisfy my basketball desire... because go Sabah cannot play... LOL....

Hmmm.. guess that's about all there is to say....

Today is not a good day.... I was very very angry... now I'm just pissed... but it's going to be ok soon...

On my heart.. I really swear man... today will be the last day i ever organise anything for my archery colleagues.... seriously...

Given the disappointing outcome of the last outcome... I wasn't too sure of organising another one again... but given the encouragement of those who attended... i sort of decided on it again at the last minute....

But today was really the last straw... i would rather use the big straws to suck on my bubble tea...

This was what happened...

We (total got 5 of us) were suppose to meet at 1100hrs at Marine Parade Community center... for basketball or badminton... and so i brought along my basketball... and reached there at 1130hrs.. thinking i was late....

But i became suspicious... because no one called me or anything... and upon reaching... i could confirm that no one have reached... after going to the top floor and checking the basketball court and badminton courts...

And so.. i began calling everyone... because I wasn't sure whether to book the badminton courts first...

The first one, because he is attending to some matters... told me that he will be late... but it's ok.. since he already mentioned before...

Second one... just woke up... live in the north.... later told me he no point coming, since he got archery work later at 1345hrs... so well... not coming le...

Third one... also just woke up... live in the far far west.... never say anything else...

Fourth one... told me he will reach around 1300hrs.. but he also already mentioned that he will be going late.. so it's ok...

I started playing basketball on my own from the time i reach.... for around 1 1/2 hours.... just shooting balls and doing lay ups... since i have not played at the sheltered Marine Parade CC before...

While playing... i keep thinking back to last Friday's disappointing gathering... then keep thinking of why am i playing basketball alone... why am i so on time.... why am i waiting so long.... lots of why and why....
Play until tired le... then sit on the steps and stone...

At one point... i just feel like going home.... really pissed until max already.....

At around 1330hrs.... the first one finally reach... he already told me he got something in the morning.. so I'm still ok.. but he apologise for being so late...
But it is kinda of late... and I have been wasting my time there waiting alone for close to 2 hours...

Never mind... we then went to book the badminton court and started playing first...

The next guy came at 1400hrs.. he already told me also... so I also ok lar... though like very late... but at least got come... so we played together...

The last person... never say anything... and in the end also never turn up... we played until about time... went Parkway for a drink... and that's when i found out that the one living in the west... went for archery work... when she mentioned that she not doing the night before... but yet she didn't inform us.... -_-

Upon hearing this.... I really just gave up man... gave up any hope of any gathering anymore.... really give up le....

First of all.. they don't have the basic manners and courtesy to even wake up on time... when I've already told them last night online about the thing today.... all said ok.... then now cannot wake up... 1100hrs then wake up.... I think pigs wake up earlier than that...

Secondly... got something on.. also don't want to tell.... then we wait like idiots there.... but anyway... at that point of time.. i already gave up on anyone else coming....
I mean... where is the basic manners of informing the person in charge when you can't make it? A simple SMS .. is it that hard? Or is it just plain laziness and taking things for granted? Do you think it is fun for the organiser to keep waiting and waiting... not knowing whether the person will turn up or not?

Another thing also... I think when you are coming late.. you should be informing me first... not i call you then you tell me that... I wait like a real Idiot there... one person playing basketball alone... for 1 hour plus... i shot so many balls... i even completed 1 round of ABC....
If not for the one who said he will come late.. and apologised for it..... i would really just have left and heck about the whole thing already....

Haiz..... the reason why i am ranting this all on my blog... is because I don't want to be arguing or scolding my colleagues for this... it doesn't help things... and we will be working together in future...

But i just stop contacting them online anymore...I don't' wish to talk to any of them anymore...it's that bad.... really give up man....

But i need a avenue for me to rant all my anger out... or else i will be so sick with anger... I may kill someone... LOL....

This 2 incident also changed my perspective of them le... I guess my attitude will change during work le.... really so damm pissed....

At least it was a good session while it lasted though.... It's been so long since i last played badminton.... so it was a good workout and a good refresher of sort.... found out I still have some skills with me... guess they are like part of me already.... but i got to work more on my leg movements... abit slow....

But still... it was fun while it lasted.... but i would never again organise anything for them anymore...

I don't even know if i will attend those they organise..... really so du lan....

Too Free a day.... LOL

Today i was quite free.. no basketball... no nothing... so stayed at home... went out with my Mum to IKEA for awhile.. then chill at home again...

LOL... boring... suddenly no work... feels weird... haha...

By the way, Singapore lost to China for table tennis... but at least got a Silver medal... not that it's not expected... LOL...

I didn't catch the match much... saw abit only... mainly due to 2 reasons...

Firstly.. I don't have much interest in table tennis... haha...

Secondly, to be honest.. though they represent Singapore.... are they really considered Singaporeans? Afterall... the players are all from China... LOL... it's like watching a match between China players.... honestly...

Read in the newspaper that Tan Howe Liang (if i didn't spell wrongly) mentioned that since now the table tennis have gotten a medal, the reporters won't ask him the same questions every 4 years...

But to me... he will still be the true Singaporean to have gotten a medal for Singapore at the Olympic...

Well.... don't think we can produce a true born and bred in Singapore medalist for now... but it can be seen that alot of locals are doing their best...

Maybe in a few years time.. we can see another true Singaporean get a medal... haha...

Many many activities....

Got quite abot of stuff going on this few days... so much so that... well... i don't have much time to blog.... LOL.... haha...

Actually also not that much... haha...

At least now.. well... less projects... yup...

Friday i only have 1 project.. which is kinda rare.... LOL.. but it's all the way at Jurong East... then after that went to meet up with my archery colleagues for a gathering... again... sort of to celebrate the last day of one of the full-time staff.. in fact.. the only one... LOL...

It was a celebration... because it is sort of like the end of his suffering... from all the low pay and over-work...

But alas.. i would say the gathering was a rather disappointing one... i was the organiser... and nearing the meeting time... i started receiving SMS on people not going.. because some other people not going... and all that...

Haiz... our group is already very small... then with all these no shows... in the end only 3 of us went to eat....

Worse... the meeting was set in the city area, because 1 of the colleague live in the west... and she didn't come... and i kena a $2 ERP charge while driving in there....

Dui man....

But well.. it was still a good meal.. at Lau Pa Sat there.. quite nice food.. and all the gossips and talking bad about the bosses... LOL...

Haha... it was quite a good session i would say...

Following that.. we went to Parkway for pool... haha... then some of the other colleagues and former colleagues came to join... haha... actually only 2 more lar...

That night... my form was quite good i would say... i won all my matches... haha.. except one... lose on complacency... LOL.. but the guy i sort of overwhelmed him in the first round.. so it's ok....

Anyway.. win or loose doesn't really matter that much.. it's just a get-together session... haha...

And i found something cool about the pool at Parkway.... they actually provide free gloves... and after playing with it.... i found that it is indeed quite a good piece of equipment... better than putting powder on the left hand... haha...

Hmmm.. thinking of buying one personal one... the free for all one don't know how many people wear before already... maybe some go toilet never wash hand or what.. LOL...

And i suppose it should be quite cheap... haha... thinking of getting a personal cue also... haha... get cheap one... then when playing will feel more professional... haha...

Then due to some mis-arrangement.. in the end i have to send one colleague home at AMK.... form Marine Parade.. so near to home... but have to travel all the way to AMK.... LOL...
Reach home at 0200hrs.... wa liew.... like not tired... and the petrol.... -_-

Oh well.. once in a while... consider it a good will....

There were talks of another gathering this coming Monday... but i don't feel like organising anymore... i felt the feelings of being an organiser when no-shows happens... the feeling sucks... especially when they say they will come... then suddenly just change their mind...

Haiz.... heck... I'm going Sabah soon... want to meet or not i also don't care already....

Anyway.... this moring... met up with Baldwin, Luis, Yan Li and Heok Kia for basketball.. at the sheltered CC beside my house...

Quite a fun session... and it was definitely a good time to catch up with Baldwin, who have been away for so long overseas studying... but he has finally graduated, and came back to Singapore... haha...

Following that, we went for lunch, with some more catching up.. by the time I reach home, i have to get ready to go for my Japanese language already....

Lol.. very rush sia.... haha....

But at least there were no no-shows....

Oh well... many too many things going on this week... abit too hectic le... that's why it's good to go Sabah and chill around... refresh myself...

Tomorrow's basketball session was cancelled... guess I'm going to have quite a free Sunday....

Burnt out.... Totally...

I'm officially chao da already... after spending 2 whole days under the hot sun... doing archery coaching... especially at SAJC.... 3 hours for 2 days... under the morning sun....

With insufficient rest.... working the whole day.... burnt out man.... totally...

Tuesday was a whole day of doing stores and transportation... till the late evening... 1930hrs to be exact....

Wednesday was one of my best days.... I woke up at 0530hrs... to reach SAJC at 0730hrs... by bus... and did coaching all the way.. after SAJC, went to another 2 more schools.... all the while.. under the hot, unforgiving sun.... till 1830... after that rush down to SunTec City to help out at an events thing at the request of a friend... all the way until 2230hrs.... effectively... i was working from 0730 till 2230...
It was there that i meet with a situation which made me sometime wonder what's wrong with Caucasians man... really full of attitude problem....

Let me highlight my situation here...

Firstly.. i was assigned to do packing... for some books and CD products of a talk... the customers are supposedly to fill in their order, then make payment, then proceed to my counter to get the stuffs...
However, due to veyr good responses... alot of book titles were sold out... but we, or the events company.. offers to send the book over to the person's house for free.. and that was what i conveyed to the ang moh who gave his payment slip to me...
With a frustrated tone.. he rejected the offer.. and proceed to demand his payment back... as in like.. really demand lor... cannot even talk properly.... arrogant stupid ang moh....
I asked him to proceed to the payment counter to get back his refund... becasue as mentioned.. we are the packing counter... we pack stuffs... we don't deal with money issues... other people who also wanted refunds had cooperated nicely... but this stupid ang moh... suddenly raise his voice and told me this" NO! I came here to buy a book, and of you don't have any stock now, you will go and get the refund for me!"
And well... being a nice front line service personnel... and wearing my new black G2000 suit that i bought from Malaysia... I'm not about to argue back or anything... and so I agreed to it, and took his payment slip to the payment counter... which is just next to our counter...-_-"
Yes... just next door... about 5 steps away... people are still queuing up at our counter... but because of 1 stupid ang moh... they got to wait... he just stand there and refuse to move....

After that.. I signalled for him to come over and receive his money personally from the counter... after telling the payment staff about the issue... I mean... isn't it more logical that you collect the money personally yourself? I mean... the money is for you, so wouldn't it be better that you collect it personally from the payment counter? Going throuhg different hands may mean the money being pocketed or something... and so i nicely gestured from him to come over and take his money...
Haiz... again... like a stone... he stood there... and raise his voice again... "NO! I'm here to buy a book.. and if you don't have any stock now, YOU will get my money back for me!"

I guess all the good food made his leg too heavy to move...all the Macs... and all the dono what thing they put in their mouth...
Haiz.... and so... like all responsible front line service personnels... i obligingly took the money.. and pass to him... and nicely telling him sorry about that~~~

If I weren't helping out with my friend... I wouls stuff the money up his nose... or just throw it back at him.... or a 1000 others ways of things that i would say i will do, but not really do it... LOL...

Sometimes...I really respect frontline serivce personnels who have to deal with all this kind of people... and yet smile and tell them to have a nice day... this one incident had been fuming till now... at that point.. because i was too busy... i didn't take much notice of it... but after everything... i keep thinking back to the incident.. and now the anger fills me... together with the sun burnt feelins...

It is people like this that gives the whole community a bad name... I've always been neutral about ang mohs... I don't specially favour them.. but i also don't hate them... but after this incident.... I seem to view ang moh's differently already.... this arrogant and demanding attitude...

So what if your country is richer... or you are richer.. fatter... heavier... uglier... strong power nation... once colonial masters and what not....
Does that give you a right to look down on us Asians... and start behaving like a jack-a**.... talking to us in this manner?

Now i feel Bruce Lee's anger when he mash up the signboard dictacting Asians are weak cowards... I could have smashed up his face....

I sometimes wonder that with the type of things happening in their country... is it some form of a karma thing... due to their attitude... and looking down on us Asians...

Haiz.... I must find my inner peace.... too much hatred and evil thoughts are bad for me....
And i must admit my statement is unfair... because it's just one ang moh...1 stupid ang moh.... but still... the anger is making me want to condemm all ang mohs together...

Sorry about that.... but because of this 1 ang moh... i am going to change my view of ang mohs....

Today... was almost another full day... same thing at SAJC... after that went to did coaching till 1830hrs... fortunately... the thing stops here.. and i was able to get home after that... and have a good rest...

My body still feels like it is burning now.... -_-"

Think i go rest liao.. hatred.. sun burnt....tired out.... not good for me...

A free day...

Today is one of my free days.... haha... finally... my work load has dropped significantly... it's good and bad though... i have alot of time to rest now.. but less income... LOL....

Too much free time ain't good for me.... thoughts will start to wander.... then well... it's not very comfortable... LOL

I thought I've gotten over this....years ago... but it seems like things can just happen.... once it strucks.. it strucks hard...

And i didn't want it to happen man.. in fact... i tried avoiding it.... hmm... but well.. it still got me...

But well.. as per in the past... i am working hard to get it out of me... haha... and so today... besides finishing all the last few days of newspapers... i went for a 2.4km leisure run.... too long never run because of work commitments... so start easy first....

After that... i went on to play some basketball at the CC near my house....

It was a rather good workout session for me... and get my mind off things.... haha

Felt much better while playing basketball....

And since it was a session between strangers... it was a rather peaceful session... in fact... i like this type of playing style... no one will shout around... and do alot of nonsense... everyone just play his own style... it doesn't matter whether you are good or not... or does the team win or lose... everyone just played... in fact... the only words i heard are sorries... when balls are missed.. or a player hits another...

So peaceful..... and i sure enjoyed myself...

But it wasn't a wise choice to play immediately after my run... had so much lactic acid in my legs.. they feel heavy when training and jumping... haha...

But still.. i managed to do a reverse lay-up... and shoot some loops... haha...

Although the team I'm in lose all matches... it was still fun....


Fortunately.. the session was cut short when some Malay martial arts group need to train... so i didn't have to force myself too much...

Was trying to learn from another tall guy... he's abit taller than me... and he sure is an experienced player... have very good team play.. and also rather good with his moves under the net... he even did a one had layup and slam board... Awesome.... that's like the Singapore playing style of the Olympic match between USA and China... haha...

Speaking of which.. caught the USA VS China match yesterday on Channel U.... and as I expected... the US team won... afterall.. they have so much more experience... and their team are a All-Star team.... LOL... almost everyone is like the top player in his own NBA team... How to lose... haha..

They even have the confidence and score leads to began playing fancy moves towards the last 2 quarters... and they sure slammed alot... there's one reverse slam also... Cool man...

And there's one more thing i find that they are really too good at... they steal alot... including layups by the Chinese players that would have scored... it's like.. the ball is going to hit the square on the board already to reflect in... but the US players can jump so high... they slammed the ball away from the board... and took possession...

It's like... Wow... you mean people can actually do that? It's like in the comics... haha.... i even remember seeing one US player hitting away a almost to be slammed ball i think....

Wow..... Amazing.... haha.... if only i could do that.... haha....

Oh well... dreams... haha... abit far... but i can work towards it... LOL...

Better start with my legs... really hope to one day be able to slam the rings man... haha...

Hmmm... think I've been going on for quite abit... about all le...

Tomorrow.. may have work.. not sure yet.. my boss didn't call me... LOL.... so i take it as no for now... if no work.... think i will hit the pools tomorrow morning... then after that... another round of basketball... haha...

A Relaxing Day....

Today was a rather relaxing day... managed to catch quite abit of sleep... Haha...

Went for basketball in the morning... and surprisingly.. the rim on our our usual playing court was missing... and the area cordoned off... think some idiot got and attempt a slam dunk and spoil the rim...

And so.. we went to another court near JK's house... the board there is shorter... haha.... could've attempted an assisted slam dunk by holding the rims... haha.. but i don't want to be another idiot spoiling the rims....

But it was a short session... cut short by the rain....

Oh well... it's been rainy this few days...

Went to Macdonald for lunch... got the swimming Olympic glass... should've eaten it last week.. then can get one more basketball one... wasted... no more stock le...

Hmmm... oh well.. today nothing special... after that went to take a long nap... LOL.... tired man...

Ok.. nothing to blog about liao.. later go watch the Men's basketball Olympic... China Vs USA... should be a very interesting match... haha...

Rainy National Day~~~~

Happy 43rd Birthday Singapore....

Kinda glad the rain didn't spoil the parade... especially the marching contingent... and i think it's really good that our President is braving the rain... carrying on the inspection and so on...
Cool....

Other than that.. i didn't catch the other parts... doesn't interest me much... haha

Was working this morning.. LOL.. at Yishun.... but at a good deal... my boss promised me 1.5X... plus my new rate... I'm earning quite abit today.. for a short while of work... haha..

Had a very long day the past 2 days.... Thursday wise... went 2 schools to coach... followed by my Japanese lessons.... reach home very tired out le... but that wasn't the end... on Friday morning... i had to wake up at 0500hrs.... to reach a school at Bishan by 0715hrs... then after that it was a long day of non-stop and no rest day of coaching carnival style continuously... followed by helping out with stores after that.... so basically i worked 0715hrs to 1915hrs on Friday... non-stop... only had some rest while traveling.... -_-"

After that.. i went to join my archery colleagues for dinner... we were supposed to have a gathering together after work... but sadly.. i was recalled to do stores.. me and me alone.. LOL... so i had to join them later... haha...

This incident actually made me feel rather heart-warming though... i never expected colleagues like us could actually become so close to the extent of planning gatherings and all... in the past... colleagues stayed that way for me... except for one... who happened to be in the same course as me... LOL...
But other than that.. we seldom contact outside work...

But now.. with these group.. perhaps of the increased frequency of us meeting up for projects on alot of days... i guess we all got rather close... besides the dinner on Friday night at Bugis... we were already planning another one on the next Monday....

Haha....... that's kinda cool....

Had a talk with my boss during the ride back tot do stores.. then realised that... well... for the past month... the reason why i was being called up for so many projects... is simply for me to clock enough hours to earn a decent monthly pay.. comparable to outside jobs.. which my boss tried to make sure that he can match the salary... after i spoke fo changing jobs earlier on...

And there I was.. not realising that... bad-mouthing them.. wondering how come i am involved in almost every projects... like i kena worked like cow... haha... while my other colleagues have it easier... some even have insufficient projects...
My boss even sent me to Bugis after the store yesterday... after he realised i am suppose to mee the rest... haha....
Anyway.. his house near there.. so it's still ok... haah...

So there was a reason... haha... Hmm... oh well... next time i should watch my mouth... LOL

Ok... vert tired already... go sleep le...

Whole afternoon under the sun...

Today... i did coaching at 2 schools in the North... for their Archery CCA....

Overheard the teacher mentioning something rather interesting... she was telling the students to hurry up and get out to the field to shoot... don't waste $30/hr of coaching fees...

Hmm.. I was paid $8/hr last month... only rose to $9/hr this month... and i am doing all the hard work... but i'm not even paid half of the fees....

Hmmm...

Well... that's the real world... employees are always begin exploited.... LOL...

Was abit sun-burnt today... the sun was very burny..... and hot.... and i am paid only $9/hr.....

Oh well.... it was rather encouraging at times... when the students express interest in the training... though not all... it's still ok.... haha....

Well... aiming to stop my archery work by the 15th August... want to rest abit... and also prepare for my trip to Sabah....

It's been awhile... time to go back and chill around in the Sabah breeze... haha... and yep... going to learn diving there as well.... one more certification to get.... haha...

I got quite abit of certifications this year... Bronze Medallion...Archery Technical... NCAP Theory 1.... First Aid... soon to get NROC level 1.... Rock climbing belaying Level 1... going to get diving....

Wow.... haha... I'm amazed myself... LOL

Ok.. go sleep le.. tomorrow is an early day..

Pilot Dream~~~

Not sure why... but this few days i keep falling asleep rather early... then wake up rather early in the morning also... hmmm... that's why yesterday didn't blog... was asleep before 2200hrs....

Haha.... maybe it's the effect of the alcohol...

Just came back from a night basketball session.... alone.. against strangers in the community center near my house...
I would say it was a rather good match... 3 V 3 , and my team managed to win for 2 rounds... 2 of 3, and 2 of 2.... and well... haha... I was the top scorer... although ending getting abit tired le... but still managed to get quite a good number of shots.... my team consist of a kid and a teenager who abit anyhow....
After that that teen challenged me to a 1 on 1... won him 7-4... he's ok.. just not consistent... and too much patterns... haha....

Was practicing my 2 point shoots... and I'm not sure if it's the court or what... but i am getting silent shots in one after another.... i seem to be able to shoot well at the community center...

Hmm..... maybe next time should play nearer to home.. can perform better... haha...

Anyway... hmm...this 2 days.. nothing much... work again... but it's only in the afternoon...

Feels abit weird not being over-worked though... haha...

Was talking to a colleague.. who was also training to be a pilot... and suddenly.. my interest in being a pilot increased... i mean.. it's one of the potential career options i've been looking out for....

Well.. it pays very well... and you get to travel around... and since i have no commitments whatsoever... i think it's a job that suits me...
Being a vet is out.... I don't think i can get the qualifications.... a cook is also out... i cannot bear to kill...
Being a business-man.... abit uncertain.. but also can earn alot...
So yar... a pilot looks good....

A few years back... when i was called up for the Air Force pilot test... this career could have taken off... too bad i didn't make the mark.... haha..

Hmmm... seriously thinking i can consider it.. after i finish school... at least have a degree to fall back on in case i didn't make the mark...
But if my that colleague can make it pass the theory test le... leaving only the practicals... i don't see why i can't.... haha....

Hmmm... a pilot dream... interesting.... haha... go sleep le...

Basketball and Steamboat...

Yesterday was a rather happening day... haha... Went for basketball in the morning.. followed by steamboat and movies after that....

Basketball wise... hmm.... i would say we lost quite abit.... 4 of us against 2 groups of outsiders... but at least managed to won a few matches...

Our main curse was the good shooting rate of the opponents... they had a few good shooters... shotting rate got 80%... so well... haha... if not for that... they wouldn't stand a chance... because physically they cannot match us....

Hmm.. oh well.. guess I'll have to train up on my marking le... need to be able to block shooters...

After that... i met up with my MK gang-1... for movies and steamboat... haha...

Well.. at least this time.. we manage to control quite well... only left with abit of food only... haha.. looks like i am getting good at this le... haha... next time should be able to control to just nice...

As it was a Sunday... the guys got to leave early.. because they still have work today...

But it was a really good gathering...

And many thanks to Yan Li... for helping to wash 98% of the dishes... LOL

It really makes a difference when there is a girl around... haha....

And also Luis... for preparing the salmon..... ^_^

And also to HK... for the alcohol.... LOL

Haha... and thanks to that.. yesterday i had to sleep early...KO...... so didn't blog...

Hmm... oh well... but it was a good sleep.. so woke up early today... haha

Too bad.. didn't win the Addidas watch... missed by abit.... Oh well.. try again... haha..

This week.. at least there's not as much projects... so i'll have an easier week... haha

Rock Climbing Level 1 Certified~~~

Went for my Rock climbing level 1 certification course today.... haha... it was a sponsored course by SIM.... so i decided to go for it.... I only have to do some work during some open house or something... help to belay people... haha...

Actually it's a level 1 belaying course... you don't need any certification to climb... haha...

It was in a indoor area...so there is the comfort of no sun.... somewhere at Jurong East.... very very far away...

I would say i enjoyed myself very much... because it is not everyday that you get to climb a rock wall... haha.... but my hands suffered alot... it was one of the most tiring day for my hands... especially the fingers... from all teh holding on and grabbing on to little spaces on the wall... or the rocks... haha

But it was still fun...

Well... see next time got chance can go again... haha..

Today had been a very very tired day... started work at 0800hrs... at Yishun.. ended 1730hrs at Jurong East... stand all the way throughout for the train journey home... shag like banana....
