Time for some self-reflections...

My weeks are getting less intense nowadays... finally getting some time for myself.... sorting out my thoughts...

Well... tomorrow i am finally starting on my dog walking... after some delay because they need to do some schedules...
Quite happy about it... finally getting the chance to learn more about dogs... that will help me in future... when i get my own living place... and get a dog... haha...
It had been a childhood dream for me to own a dog... haha...

By the way....My lessons are ending soon... the prelims are coming... so i'm not going school that often...

I guess in a way... i won't be indulging in CCAs anymore... well.. abit of a sour grape here... but i think it's good for me...
The thing is... i haven't been active in ODAC... because i find their activities really abit expensive... a different style from JC days i guess...
And another thing is... i didn't even get into the exco... and the President was one of my good friend in SIM...
Well... i should have known it... i didn't join the freshman orientation camp... and as such.. i didn't make much friends... and from then... all the activities i go too(only 2 actually), i felt so lonely.. can't fit in... because most of them will stick to their orientation group during the camp...

Haiz... i create this... so well... no more CCAs i guess...

Darn.. it's all because of DOTA... i missed the orientation day (which is the day to sign up for the camp) because i was playing DOTA with my army friends till 0600hrs in the morning... ang kong kia.... then i was too tired to go for it... haha...

My family is having plans now to sell off the 2 cars we have, and get just 1 good car... with all the rise in petrol prices... ERPs... plus now me and my brother not using cars that often... it's a economically rational decision... so this Chinese New Year we should eb going around shopping for one... haha...
Quite excited... been eyeing the Toyota Rush... but got to see what the other family members think about it...

That's about all...

A very Tiring Week....

Well.. as usual.. I've been filled up with activities this whole week...

School... school projects... work... course...training... play basketball... and play DOTA.. ^_^

Haha.. it was kinda accidental... i found out that the computers in my school lab have the DOTA and CS files... because i overheard some students at the back mentioning DOTA terms while playing at the back, during an un-supervised lab session... and after doing some search... i managed to find it... haha....
And subsequently, i used my friends hard drive to help me transfer the files to my laptop... haha...
And so.. finally... after so much effort in searching and trying to get the DOTA files... i finally got it... haha...
At long last..... ^_^

Hmm... haven't started on my SPCA work yet... i'm actually quite eager to go on the walk with the dogs... haha... but i think they are having some issues with the detailing.. they did mention they need abit more time to arrange... so i guess i should be able to start next week....

And i've actually just came back from my Japanese course... learnt quite abit of stuffs... but it's kinda hard to remember them yet... afterall.. it's a new language...
A good thing is it's somewhat like mandarin... and the words are made up of a table of certain tones... so it will be much easier to grasp once i can memorise all the tones... and write them in the Japanese language....

Abit suay today.... after coming home from a basketball session, i realised that i didn't bring my house-keys... and my families are out.... and i am having the Japanese lesson at 1730hrs.... and so... i have to wait outside my house... until my brother come back... at around 1715hrs... and i have to bath and change... then rush off for the lesson...
Although my brother sent me there.. i was still late... reached close to 1800hrs... haha...
Oh well.... no choice... next time try not to forget my key lor... haha..

Hmmm... think that's about all le... go rest liao... tomorrow still have another round of basketball...

Haiz....

I did a rather nasty thing just now.... I acted nasty towards another person... presumed to be a friend...
But considering what he did to me... well... i'm not sure whether to still consider him as a friend...

Anyway, it was from this incident that i realised... well... i really do not like being nasty... it's so against my nature... in fact.. i felt quite bad doing what i did...
But sometimes.. i guess it has to be done... or else the message won't find it's way across...

But well... just feel that's so against myself....

Haiz....

A golden rule here.." Do unto people what you want them to do to you"... Think before you act or talk....

Enough about all this unhappy stuff....

Just been to the SPCA for my orientation last Saturday... volunteer to do some dog walking... though i haven't receive my schedule as of yet...

And i was rather surprised when we went for a tour around the cages... i found at least 4 Siberian Huskies... i mean... these dogs are the pedigrees... and they are suppose to be like the elites of the dogs... so how can anyone abandon them?
Well... maybe it's partially affected by my preference... haha.... i like Siberian Huskies... so maybe next time i will work towards getting a landed property... then i can rear all these abandon Siberian Huskies... can't rear them in HDBs....
Haha... kinda wishful thinking.. but you get the point...

Well... nowadays... my time is spent on going for my NCAP Level 1 theory course... school.... no work yet... thankfully... and soon to do volunteer work at SPCA... and my Japanese lesson is going to start this coming Saturday... and yar.. training for IPPT...
Trying to live my life to the fullest man... don't want to waste any days... haha..

That's all...

A Busy Start~~~

Decided to do some blogging now... because from next week on... i think i will be so busy... i ain't going to have time to do so... and i know I've left my New Year and New Year Eve entries empty... wasn't free to blog... and i was sick at that time.. will recount that in the entries later... after i've finished this one...

Had a rather unhappy encounter this afternoon... or should i say... yesterday afternoon... but i think.. sometimes in life... we just have to accept things as they are.... there will be people who's attitude will never change... there'll be people always pissing other people off...
As the Chinese saying goes... "you can move a mountain easier than change a person's character."

I've encountered so much motorists on the road after driving for so long... and there are hoards of "idiot" drivers.... driver who do stupid and irritating things... and if i were to get angry at each and every one of them... i am going to live my life so much shorter... no point...

And so.. i've learn to look at life in a broader perspective... sometimes... this sort of things actually do shape my character up i guess... i learn to be more tolerant.... i think... haha...

Anyway... enough about all these unhappy stuffs....

As i was saying... things are going to get very busy for me this coming week...

On Monday, i have a class in the afternoon, and a course at night... some coach theory course...
On Tuesday, i have class the whole day.. morning to night...

Actually the main issue is with the first 2 days... very packed... adding on the fact that i am having 2 class tests on Tuesday itself....
Though the marks are negligible, it just made my burden for the day seem heavier...

And my course runs for this whole month, every Monday, Wednesday and Friday....

And upcoming... i will be starting my volunteer work at SPCA... plus my Japanese course, though i haven't received any calls from them... i've sent in my registration ages ago... last year...

And yep... so it looks set to a rather packed month... but i guess that's really how i should live my life.. as full as possible... having free days just make me want to slack off....

Hmm.... guess that's about all... i shall go rest my tired soul.... oh wait... still got a few more entries... darn....

SRJC Class BBQ 2008

Just came back from my SRJC Class BBQ...

I would say.. on the whole.. although the attendance was not very good...around 10 came... because there's a few who went overseas... then some cannot make it.... some didn't reply... some last minute cannot make it... it felt more cozy that way... because with a smaller group... we just interact much more with one another... haha...

And what was more ... how should i put it... maybe more happening... is that we managed to get our former tutor, Madam Kelly Tan to grace our event... haha...
And it came as a surprise to me that she was no longer teaching... and is pregnant with a child... haha....
But it was nice to catch up abit with her too... though she may have only taught me for 1 year... i must thank her for my GP grades... B3... ^_^
And she shared quite abit of scandals with me of SRJC.... hmm.... how things have changed since my time there....

I was rather happy that well... a few of them did messaged me to tell me how great the BBQ had been, as a gathering for all.... that sort of motivated me... well... i could do a few more next time... haha....
Although as usual... i'll be getting my hands dirty setting up fire and stuffs... cooking.... but i don't' mind doing something i like... and making everyone happy... haha...
By the way.. i managed to get an awful lot of pictures of setting up the BBQ for my course work... with my Canon S5IS or course... and that is really a very good thing... been trying to get good shots for my coursework for sometime already....

Few things could be improved though... like when there were some who cannot make it and didn't inform ... not very nice leh... because i worked my budget according to the number of people.. so in the end, everyone have to pay more...

And i think i could definitely order less of the bee hoon... it was left 1/2 untouched... very wasteful....

And i should really go survey for a perfect BBQ spot at East Coast Park.... with toilets nearby, good views and bright lights... the nearest toilet then was like 800metres away... and carrying the water container full of water for that distance is not very pleasant...

Oh... and i think i should prepare a big ground sheet the next time, then i can tie in above the pits in case of rain... for our case... it rained on and off for awhile at the start... but lucky the pit i set up was superb... it survived the rain...
Anyway... it was only a small drizzle... ^_^

And lastly... i could definitely do better with getting help...a sudden change of plan by Mr De Jian caused me much agony... as i have to carry everything to the pit myself from the carpark, with no one to help look after the stuffs... in case some monkey decided to have a BBQ session as well...
Luckily.... all was well as i transported the stuffs from my car... making 4 trips...-_-
He came in the end, after the change in plan was changed... dues to some situations... haha...

Hmmm.. i think other than that.. other stuffs should be rather fine... haha

Here are the earlier birds.... posing for my Canon S5IS...

Madam Kelly Tan and her very artistic face.... -_-.. with her husband... and the rest of those who came... posing for my Canon S5IS..

The leftovers.... after packing up and stuff, we took one final group photo, with my Canon S5IS...

I think i can take over Maria Sharapova as the next Canon Poster person.... haha....

That's all~~~
