Book in day.....

And so... so very fastly.. it's book in day.... didn't do much these few days... but the time just passed me by... so fast...
In fact... i didn't even do anything today... slacked at home whole day... didn't feel like going out...

I dono is it me or what.... but i guess army is making me quite a dull boy... not much life nowadays... not that my life is quite happening in nthe past anyway... but nowadays.... weekdays at camp... weekend at home... book in.. book out.... take bus.. take ferry.. take tonner.... chiong here.. chiong there... run here... run there.... shoot here... shoot there... blow here... blow there... ( blow charges... not anything else...-_-")

That basically sums up my life nowadays...
Oh well... no comments... take it as a rest time for me ba...

A day gone... like that....

Today is gone soon.... quite fast leh... like i didn't do much things and it is gone....
But at least it is still Saturday... haha....

This morning.. woke up 0900 plus... then went to scrub my uniforms... all very dirty.. scrub and soak... soak and scrub.. then wash in washing machine... Then after that laze around... watch TV... and watche d a very lame DVD... what "Himalaya Singh:.. watch until fall alseep...

Then after that actually want to drive to each road or Tampinese to check out the army shops there... but my brother didn't allowed me to drive alone... then he also not free... so in the end went to the army shop near my house on bicycle... went to buy back my RCK...
And i can't believe it... it cost around $40 to replace the advance RCK( with SAR 21 equipments).... abit heart pain.... but no choice... lost the whole thing during the SBD at FOFO hill.... dono is i chiong until it drop... or i forgot to put it back after using it in the morning... then maybe people kapok or something...
Check around the whole day... couldn't find it... no choice lor... buy a new one quietly... or else i may easily kena confinement for this man....
But wa... damm sian... the C tool for the SAR 21 itself cost $25!!!! Like not expensive... freaking hell...
But aiya.. guess spend abit more money... less trouble... worth it lar....
Helped my friend buy too... he also dono when lost his one....

After that... basically spent the time at home... watching TV and blogging... have to reject WK to a pool session.. becuase i quite broke liao... not much money left... better save it till i can last to my next pay...

Was blog-browsing around just now... learnt a few new stuffs... firstly... congrats to Mr TYS on getting his licence... haha... must have done alot of TYS liao... now got more drivers around le....

Then well... all the talk about the empty space or something.... aiya... like what i have always been saying... and Mr KL had mentioned in his blog... leave it to fate ba... anyway.. now my empty space is the shoulder there don't have a bar.... abit still not satisfied... still working towards it... but i am kinda resign to fate liao... guess the maximum i can reach is 3 stripes liao.... but if still got chance then good lar... if no chance... then forget it ba...

Calculated my fees for my licence... and found out that i spent around $2000 in all... including all the PDL, driving test and licence fees.... freaking hell... spent so much money.... but i guess it's well- spent... got teh licence to drive....don't have to go back anymore....

That's about it today.... think tomorrow also not doing much productive stuffs liao... don't like to play tennis... then they also no basketball session anymore... think it's because JK want to play tennis... so i guess spend the day resting at home ba....

I'm back.... shagged...

As mentioned last week.. i got Friday book out.. so here i am...

At this time... i am quite shagged already... reached home at around 2040... then got a ton of stuffs to clear.. especially my clothes....

Anyway... describe my week first... had been qutie a hectic and "out-going" week... from Monday onwards we spent our days in mainland, before returning on Thursday evening to Tekong....

On Monday itself... we went out to mainland early in the morning... went to PLC to train at the FOFO hill.... by right suppose to train for FOFO.. but it was cancelled at the last minute... so we end up doing section battle drill... because the rounds have been indented...
Abit lame... but no choice... so we are basically just going back to basics while spending the rounds... then after that went to Mandai Camp, 1st SIR to stay.... actually is stay at PLC traning shed for the 2 nights.. but they manage to get the MPH at 1st SIR... so at least better than nothing...
And basically... we did the same thing the next day... go FOF hill do SBD, then go back 1st SIR to sleep in the MPH..
On the first night... suppose to have night's out.... bbut they gave it to those who got IPPT gold and those family day helpers to go first... then the rest will go on Tuesday night... but on Tuesday night... they suddenly say it's cancelled... so i didn't manage to get the night's out... anyway it doesn't really matters to me... at Mandai.... if i want to go home... i have to start moving back to camp after reaching home because of the time limit.... so i'm quite ok with staying in camp to rest....

Then on Wednesday... we went to 127 Squadron to train our drills on a real CH47, then after that went to a carpark at around Yishun to chill and hang around until evening... when the chinhook will come to get us...
At around 1900 plus... we went to our holding area to get ready... and 1 thing i myself cannot seroiusly believe... is that they came LATE!!!!!
Wa lao... airforce by right is TOT one leh... how can they be late?????
By the way... i realised that helicopters are actually SAF.. just that airforce is looking after them....

Anyway.. when they finally came... and i finally got onto it... i can tell you... the wait is worth it....
On board the CH47... i suddenly felt like a real soldier... ready to go out for mission.... the feeling is really very "high".... felt damm cool..... then the landing was really solid... couldn't feel anything at all... in fact... i didn't even realised we landed until my Sergeant signal for us to get out....
The only thing not so good is that we only went for a small circle back to our own location... and the chinhook is quite noisy... we got to wear ear-plugs to get in....

After that... we took the "ground chopper" to our mission location.. and from there... began our Exercise "Grandslam"... harboured for the night.... then set of for our mission on Thurday at 0400... and so do mission and movement to contacts all the way till around afternoon.. then finally went back to Tekong... company line... and cleared our owns tuffs and all that...

Then this morning... we had a 11km run... abit not very right... but we still run anyway.... quite a refreshing run... and this time i was not as tired as the 12km run during the AHM.. maybe because the pace is slower as we are runnign in section level......

After that.... we had a very useless lecture all the way till afternoon... ands i basically slept through it... while the lecturer( who is my PC) also like jsut skip through it.... then we sit around clean bunk, and have some admin time.. before we finally had an early dinner.. then book out...

Felt damm ke xi... those who got IPPT gold can book out in the afternoon... guess they also know that the lecture is useless... so let them book out... and i am 20s short of it.... damm.... no extra $100... no night's out... no early book out... missing out on alot of stuffs man.....
But i guess i should be happy .... never got a Friday book out before... so well... be contented ba....

Then after getting home.. basically spent the time unpacking my stuffs... and soaking all my soiled uniforms... all the mud.. have to soak them for the night before putting in the washing machine....

And basically after that.... ZzzzZzzZZzzzz.... shagged out....

Weekend gone again...

This weekend gone again... very fast... got to go soon le... just do a quick one here...

This morning was sort of a screw up for me... woke up late... then actually don't want to go Kbox liao... then Wk called... sounded qutie du lan... then KL sent me a SMS (which showedhis du laness) ... which sort of made me wake up... then well... in the end decided to go.....

Then due to some cock up here and there... my brother came to fetch me late.. then i drove there immediately... then finally reach at around 1300.... then although got only like 1 hour left... still went in lor... a promise is a promise... since i promised to go.. i guess i have to go.... jsut take it as a lesson for myself....

Then sing abit... ate abit...dragged on till 1500 plus... then finally got to go le.. because the worker want to get us out le... then went to play pool.... treat WK and KL 1 hour... take it as a celebration for my passing of the driving test (lasty week didn't treat them).. and also as sort of an apology ba... i guess....
Then after that they went home... i also walked around to wait for my brother to come.. then drive home...

The whole mood today wasn't very right.... i dono is it me or what... but the whole mood of the outing today with them just don't seem right.... like abiut down like that....

Oh well.. can't talk much le... got to go liao....
Guess that's it ... till next Friday ba... booking out early this week... got off in lieu for AHM... haha...

I'm back....

Back again.... ta da.... quite shagged and tired now.. so will do a quick summary of the week....

Basically... got section live firing, demolition live firing, re-IPPT test and SOC test....

On Monday itself...w e went for the section live firing early in the morning... nothing special... quite easy.... but got interesting thing happen... when we assembled at SFT to wait for our bus to bring us to the range, our PC drove his civilian car in, and wanted to park in, so he just reverse.... and just so nice there is a MINDEF car behind his car, and an officer is driving it... think watching us or something.. so stopped there for awhile... and i dono our PC he just wake up or haven't wake up yet.... just reverse straight into the MINDEF car.... "PONG"...there was a dent in both cars... small dent though....
Then the officer inside the car came out... turn out to be a MWO... and our PC only 2WO.. then that officer took down our PC's name and particular.... right infront of our company.... like not sia suai....
Then for the rest of the day... i didn't see him in a good mood....
BTW, i think if you knock into a military vehicle, especially if you are a military personnel, and you are in the wrong... you are basically in quite a deep shit....
Actually i also dono whose fault it is, because i was the LPS that day... then i was facing my platoon, and the incident happened behind me... so can't really see who right or wrong... but most of them say it's our PC's fault... anyway... don't really care... not my fault can liao....

Think this is quite a negative example for someone who just got his licence.... but well.. i will learn from it....

Then for my re-IPPT...CMI... even with my new shoes... waste my investment.... think i haven't fully recovered from the 12km run.. plus my LPS stress.... cannot jump for gold... only got a pass... then pull-up also did 9 only before the grip CMI... so basically... my whole test TCMI liao... so the 2.4km i jsut run relax pace.... pushing a fellow section mate along...
Our OC forced all those who got silver only to re-take, then alot of them is like jsut take the test for fun one... so they also anyhow run one... so there was like a group of us helping my section mate to push it through....
But my this section mate also qutie jia lat... 5 years never train liao.... he was the Cambridge law graduate i was talking about.... then fitness dropped alot alot.... soneed our help... but lucky he managed to pass the 2.4km run... he now only got problem with pull-up...
Anyway... i maybe requesting for another re-test... try to get gold.. then better my chances of getting into OCS... and i'm sure my new shoes can help this time...

As for the demolition live firing at PLC.... i am glad to say that i had the honour of lighting the fuse for my section.. because iw as the LSC that day...... and 1 section only 1 person light up only.. the rest all help to set up only... used TNT flakes, PE 125, socks and sandbags...
It was quite exciting because when it was my turn, they changed it to 2 details light at a time...before that it was 1 detail blow, then the other go down to light....
And so it was like the other detail already shouted "IGNITED"... and my match fuse haven't light yet... abit gan qiong liao... but at least manage to light up, then ignted the NE number 8.... then quickly run up the slope to cover while shouting to 40s... exciting....but too bad cannot see the explosion... becasue under cover... took a look at what's left... but only see sand... so i guess nothing left lor...
But they abit unfair leh... they let the last detail to stay and watch when they blew up the land flame mine... say what they take the risk... might as well take the risk for all fo us... at least got see the explosion more song ma....
Oh well... at least i get to blow up the thing.... haha....

Then for SOC... i am very very proud to say... i have improved... by 2s....0831... and i am the fastest in the platoon.... 3rd in the company... COOL~~~
It's like last time i use to fear failing SOC.. but now everytime i take it... i am confident of myself... haha...
Actually my target is around 0800... but i guess i didn't really do my best... because i don't feel as shagged as when i performed 0833 the other time... maybe i should have really chiong it all out... becasue the weather was qutie good too...windy.. not sunny.... abti wasted like that....
Oh well.. at least i am fastest in the platoon...even won the ADF guy in my platoon.... happy liao...
Now just hoping to get the re-IPPT... and strive for gold... i know i can do it man~~~

That's basically what happened this week... so abit tired out... and as for today... it was basically a waste of time... intially there is suppose to be a CO talk... but he last minute cancel... so in teh end we spent the whole day... from 0545 to 1245... doing area cleaning.... and SBA... followed bySBB....
Really lame... and waste of time... our fast craft timing was even changed to accomodate the CO.... and he has to do this to us...

Anyway... i drove home the car today after book out...with my mum's guidiance.... she sent the car over.. then i drove to Bedok area buy some stuffs... bought a LED torchlight at $30... think it will be quite sueful in R.O.C.
Then after that went home... i am still not very confident on the big roads... think need abit more practise... maybe when my father come back can train me better... so at the moment... my mum still abit worried... so she don't want me to drive the car alone for the time being...
So for those hankering after me fetching you all around.... guess you all will have to wait... haha...

That's about it le.... think go sleep liao... tomorrow still got Kbox session....

This is like one of the fastest weekend to pass.... it's like another 2 hours to book in only... and i am like still so shag.... so i guess i will really summarise alot man....

This week.... basically is quite a tiring week... Tuesday ran 8km... Wednesday IPPT, then Thursday ran 9km plus outfield... and friday whole day outfield....

And this morning.... 12km... AHM....

Think they abit high man... chiong all the run so close together so that we can run this morning.... like nto shag!!!!

And well... lost $100... but 20s.... IPPT got silver... 2.4km timning of 10.05.. my best so far... the rest got full point except pull-up and SBJ... my SBJ abit tyco one.... suddenly manage to jump 234...
Oh well.. next week retaking... hope to chiong the gold.... see how ba...

This whole weekend was basically very packed for me... Friday night booked out at 2040 from SISPEC... reach home already quite late liao... then somemore outfield did alot of drill... so just bath and sleep liao... KO immediately...

Then yesterday morning went for driving test... and as most should already know... pass the test lor.... 16 points... all small mistakes and 1 abit big mistake... 8 points one... some estimation problem there... btu who cares.... pass liao... next time just be more careful lor...
After that... asked my mum to come fetch me... then i drove the car to Hougang plaza to meet WK,KL and YS and 4 of their class girls for Kbox....
Abit strange... and i didn't know about it too until i reach there..... but anyway.... hmm.... errmmm.... ok lar.... sinigng not bad... yar....

And i was like so shag there.... i started falling asleep on and off between songs... getting really tired... then after that we went to IOI building there to play pool..... actually is only WK,YS and KL play.... i going off find my JC classmates for dinner ... so didn't want to waste money play for awhile only.....from there try to get to Orchard via bus.. because my legs CMI liao.... but "ho-lan" abit when i overshot the stop.. so got to take the bus back again.... anyhow whack one.... but lucky still manage to get back....
Then after that went to eat with them at some japanese restaurant at Ngee Ann city there.... the food not bad... some hot pan sterak and stuffs... quite nice... can consider going there to eat ....

Then basically... after the dinner... we did nothing much.. some went off.. some came to join... then the one i dread came.... Miss e..... then my wallet got a hole... because i promised to treat her when i pass my driving test...

Oh well... guess it doesn't do much harm... anyway lucky she small size.. so eat less.... so i also treat less.... haha.....
But yesterday i sort of open up my wallet abit... the morning kbox session i also covered some charges.... treat it as a celebration for myself ba... share the happiness around....

Then they wanted to watch some soccer match at some pub or something... then i already very shagged liao... mentally tired.... so decided to go home lor....
Then the same thing... go home, bath... and KO....

Then this morning woke up quite early to prepare for the AHM.... met quite a few of my old friends around.... then saw quite a number of them in OCS... getting quite jealous.... but sometimes.. when you come to think of it... they have to train for quite long... so i guess it's someitmes better to be a Sergeant.... can slack abit more....

Whatever the case.... they give what then i take what lor... it's with this same mentality that i pass my driving test.... i didn't expect anything that morning.... then in the end pass.... so i guess that's why i don't feel as happy as i thought i shoud be....

Then today run 12km... it's considered quite shagging for me.... the furthest i went up to is only 9km... then suddenly 12km.... but lucky the pace is ok...runnign as a company block.... got stop at some points to rest... then got slow down sometiems also.....
But at the end point.... can feel the pressure in my head quite big liao... got abit of headach... think maybe because this whole week never rest properly.... then the leg also CMI liao... walk also got abit of problem.....

Like WK mentioned in his blog... i also saw the HCJC girls.... haha.... but didni't give much of a damm.... because got to keep up with the company.... in fact... they and us are like constantly taking over one another.... saw them a couple of times liao...

After that... went to have lunch at KFC with my section... then after that actually wanted to go hoem and rest... then suddenly though might as well go get myself a pair of good runnign shoes... can help in my 2.4km run.... so went to Queensway shopping center there... bought a Asics 1100 shoe at $113... then my brother come to fetch me home... then after that i drove my mum around to buy stuffs and visit my aunt... as well to practise my skills....

Then basically... that's abvout it for the activities... now awaiting book in while trying to rest as much as possible... because this whole weekend never got a chance to rest well.... then i think i am going to suffer alot this coming week... because we got live firing tomorrow... 2 SOC sessions... and a re-IPPT.....

Haiz... no choice... heard my off for this morning's AHM is next week... so ... just chiong lor.... no choice...

Got to go prepare my stuffs le.... till next Saturday then...

Another weekend... gone soon...

Will be booking in soon... 2130... and well... abit sian... but no choice lor....

Did a few stuffs today... in the morning nothing on... no basketball... not sure why... i smsed OJK about it... but he told KL he didn't receive it... but i even got prove from my sent messages... maybe the telecomunication something wrong...
Oh well... never mind... can sleep more... and also iron my smartest 4 for tomorrow's Muster Parade...

Then went for driving lessons again... in the afternoon... last lesson before my test this Saturday... then got back car 5....
Think i should be quite ok... just that some times still abit rusty.... but i'm sure i can perform on the test... hopefully... don't want to waste any more money and time in getting my licence... quite troublesome now.. because i am still a trainee... so try to get it over and done with....

After that... rushed to Parkway Center to meet up with WK,YS and KL for pool.... they play only... i didn't few like joining in... don't feel like playing... think the training made me loose interest in alot of stuffs liao... just want to slack at home...
Anyway.. i also money no enough liao... because now i am surviving on my NS allowance... don't want to take money from my parents... give them instead...

After the game... we went to eat dinner... then after that we all went home le...

Went to Bedok central to check out the VCD shops... and found what i waas looking for... "Infernal Affairs' 1,2,3 all in a set.. DVD... $69.90... still hesitating to buy... because my pay haven't come yet...
Anyway.. think i make it this way... if i get my licence this Saturday... i will buy the disc after the test... if not.... then see how...
Actually wanted my parents to buy in Malaysia... because cheaper ma... but they couldn't find the all in 1 set DVD one in Sabah... so see if possible... ask them help me find in KL or something... or really worst come to worst... buy in Singapore...

That's about it le... now nothing to do... just watching TV and waiting for the time to come.... so well.. till next Friday then...

Today we got quite an early book out... or i would say the earliest since i'm in SISPEC.... 1230 transport to TFT... some due to some delay... the transport came at only around 1250...
But still .. quite happy... anyway there are only 2 companies operating in SISPEC now... so i guess we can have whatever book out timing requested....
Sometimes... i really pity Foxtrot trainess... they booking out only at 1630....
Oh well.... that's their problem~~~~
I mean.. I can't change that anyway.... so well... as the army rule of way.... suck thumb....

This few days.. had been qutie a waste of time... got alot alot of admin time... then got admin time our CSM don't wan to let us rest... want to do standy by area...

On Thursday... we had our beret presentation parade.... now feeling quite shiok.. finally can wear a green beret liao... then there will be a girl wearing yellow ribbon on her chest in the merry month of May... ~~~~

But still... i am aiming to get the Khaki beret.... more"shuai"... and more different... and even know they are a bunch of under-paid pirated commandos... it's still better than infantry only...
It's like so "sak ki"... ouir company got 1 guards trainee... so it's like amongst the green grass... you can see a sand bag.... cool~~~

Then yesterday got SOC warming up session... chiong in clean fatigue first.... then with SBO.... for the clean fatigue part... i was the first in my section to reach... so it shows my standard still there.... but with SBO on... i became the 2nd one... because i was so tired at the low rope... i just stopped pushing... went down.. rest awhile... then went up again sucessfully... then it's like after the whole thing.... really shag like no-body's business...

Then this morning.... best... got 7km run... after doing SOC yesterday... actually if it's 7km at a slow pace i still ok.... but this time they chiong from the start leh... say what now in ASLC... have to go faster.... so just follow suit lor.... think my fitness standard is still ok... can follow the pace and stuffs....
But actually.. i think all these stuffs are really in the mind one... and the breathing technique.. so it was quite ok for me.... cool~~~

Oh yar... forgot to mention my section.... now my section got 8 people...4 newcomers.... 1 OOC liao... becuase he is a recourse from Bravo... and he damm sian... don't want to go through it again... then manage to get OOC...
Then got 1 guy... 5 years older than us.... a Cambridge Law graduate... disrupted for his studies.... don't play play leh... already got a bond job liao... heard him say his starting pay per month is $4000 plus le.... so envious.... i now only getting $520.... somwhere there....
Then got 1 very quiet guy...dono where he from... he like nto very on with us like that...
And the last one... my new buddy... a friend i got to know from my 9 days OBS course during my JC years.... he in the same detail as me.. then very "gam' with me one.... haha.... Singapore really small....

Then today... came home and basically did nothing.. other than wash my clothes and stuffs... shagged out..... then WK also very sian... want to go out... but 2 guys.... i also dono can go where... then if play pool 2 people very sian...
Oh well... so i told him to stay home to do his favourite activity.... ^_^

Then i just cancelled my next Friday's driving lesson... because my PC don't allow me to book out early on Friday... got outfield training.... he only allowed me to book out on Friday night...
Haiz... lucky i tomorrow got 1 more practise... hope i can clear it this time... once and for all...

And yar... forgot to mention something.... my hope was revived during my OC's briefing.... THERE IS ANOTHER OCS CROSSOVER!!!
I was very happy initially when i heard that.... but come to think of it... should i pin my hopes so high again? Then later cannot get... moral low.... so i guess this time... i will place a very low confidence level at this crossover.... quite sian already.... but i will still do my best to achieve...
1 thing is... i don't think my PC like me... and i think he favours another of my section mate more.... because during the PC interview... my PC told him that he just need to get an SOC timing of less than 09:33, and IPPT Gold, then he can go OCS liao...
My SOC achieved liao... IPPT short of abit... and he didn't tell me any of that... so i guess he doesn't believe in me or something... i dono... i also don't really like him anyway.... in fact... our whole platoon(those origianlly same platoon one) doesn't really like him... think it's his attitude... not very right...
Seriously... i think if my PC is any of the other platoon's PC... i would have stand a higher chance....

Oh well... heck... i will do my best and strive for the crossover... can then can lor... cannot then cannot... become Sergeant lor... go BMTC train recruits.... that will be quite fun too....
