Fruitful WD...

Today... as usual... got work... well... this whole week also got lar....

But well... today is more interesting.... because asides from reading "Naruto" to book 17.... i also learnt some basics of a new language.... the Korean language.... ^_^

For the record... my Korean name is "Im Duc Wi"....

And that is all thanks to the Korean counterpart... Mr Nam Hyunng Sig....

Actually... during lunch we are already getting much more friendly... think because work so long le... began to talk alot more.... and found out alot of things as well...

Mr Nam... has a girlfriend... who is a doctor at Korea.... Woooahh...... cool man.... like not free MCs.... haha...
And he earns S$5000 a month... on the average as the Manager of the Hyundai Company.... Wooahh.... that's considered quite a high income in Singapore le.... but the bad thing is that the COL in Korea also quite hard... a S$2 "chai fun" in Singapore can easily cost between S$8 - S$10 in Korea... like not expensive.... guess that accounts for the high salary....

Hmm... still digged out alot of Korean stuffs...but forgot le... haha...

Then after work... while working...i saw his Korean-English electronic dictionary.... then since abit curious... borrowed it to explore abit... but everything in Korean language... so dono how to use....
Then asked how to write my name in Korean... think it's pretty cool to learn my name in other language.... then i wrote my chinese name.. and he found it out for me with the help of the dictionary....
Yes.... they can write chinese... which sort of surprises me as well... he mentioned that their names are in chinese... think they got learn how to write it.. but pronounce it differently from us...

And well... guess that sparked off everything... he began to teach me the basics of the Korean words... the funny looking words with strokes and circles and squares.... and i found out... well.. actually the characters are very easy... they are formed by a series of the basic forms... total got about 25 basic forms... then the sounds of the words can also be derived from them.... something like our chinese words... just that we don't lean it that way anymore because we learn "Hanyu Pinyin" now....

And i spent the next 20 minutes learning the Korean words and stuff from him.. like how to write and pronounce.... something like match drawing with the representing sounds... then just put together to get a word...
Roughly got a hang on it... can get the sounds and writings correct.. but dono the meaning of the words.... so he taught me some basics...

That's most of what i leant.... not bad huh.... still share out.... haha.... next time if i want to pick up Korean language also easier....

Then after after we finished up the stocks available... no more stocks to work on le... some problems with the store part... so well... EARLY RELEASE~~~~
Our supervisor still chase us out hurrily.... think he also want to go home early... haha...

And i think the My Nam wants to try out our MRT system... or he find the cab fare expensive... dono why... asked us on how to take the MRT to his Mandarin Hotel...at Orchard there.... and well.. then we decided to send him there.... all except Jig and Bernard.. they got stuffs... because quite dangerous if he take wrong train and stuffs...

And so... we send him all the way to his hotel... can also take it as a mean to thank him for teaching us the Korean language... and well... along the way we also asked and learnt somemore... but because didn't record down.. so forgot le.... haha...

And after that.... since we already come all the way to Orchard le.. so decided to go HMV walk walk abit... see CNY clothes... i went back to check out some shops for my pants... but well... didn't plan to buy yet... see first... then maybe meet up with some army friends to complete buying the whole set by this sat... or else CNY got to wear last year's clothes liao.... haha....

Think going to get a pair of shoes as well... my shoes all use for training until "lan" liao... so well.. maybe get a pair of go-out shoes...

After walking awhile... we all also tired and hungry le... then all go home le lor...

Just saw the ending of "Hellsing"..... the Alucard like not god like that.... can't die one... then can revive himself... and when no more seal on him... he really god-mode sia..... easily kill the enemy... cool....
But hor.. i don't get the ending... abit sudden leh... give the type of guess-it-yourself- endings.... sian..... but well... never mind.... got new anime tomorrow...

And hor.. check the driving time-table le... dono why suddenly the people so on... booked up so many lessons.... i can't get anymore this week... sian... and only next sunday got 2 free slots...one after another.... but i cannot possibly take 2 lessons at 1 go, one after another one... very tiring one....
Haiz... guess no choice lor... book 1 lesson and see how.... really getting further from my dream already.... haiz.... sian....

And oh yar... forgot one last really important thing.... I'VE PASSED MY FTT!!!!!

Now i am 1 step closer to my licence... ^_^
