A kinda expected surprise....
Hmm... just received a news a few hours ago.. while i was watching Guess Variety...
I was elected.. or should i say.. selected.. as a Captain.. of my school karate... haha...
Hmm..... not much feelings here... I mean... I am graduating soon... and though I don't mind a post.... I dono.... I often wondered would it have been better if it is given to those not in their final year?
I mean.. afterall... they can contribute better.... when i work next time.. I won't know if I have the time and energy to commit much more...
But one thing for sure... I will train my karate to a Black belt... dun want to stop again.. like for my Taekwondo... LOL...
As with Track... well.. initially unhappy with the Vice-Captain post (Captain was given to a so call "new bird").... because I feel it's not really respecting me... I mean... I've been in Track for so long.. lol... but still... it turns out to be a good decision... because i guess i won't be active in Track for too long... after the exams....
Too many things had happened there.... pleasant.. unpleasant....
And I think it really is better for those not in their final year to take up some exco position... those in the final year should concentrate on their studies... and work... lol...
Oh well... memories....
But still kinda happy... that I am begin recognised for my contributions... in another CCA... and not because the post was given to someone who was an officer or from some special infantry unit...
Well... abit of grousing... but I've already accepted the fact.. and moved on...
Like they say... when a door's close on you, a new window will open up for you :)
The worls suddenly seem like a brighter place :)
