Busy Weekend....

It had been a very busy weekend for me... having classes from 1000hrs till 1730.... 7 hours... 1 hour lunch break... for both days....

Oh well... i guess part from missing my basketball sessions... I don't have much to miss... well.. maybe more sleep and slacking around.... which is not good.... haha...

So in a way... i guess it's good to be in school... haha...

Went for a run this evening... haven't done any exercises since 2 weeks ago....i even missed swimming because of my night revision class last week.... so the run was rather refreshing.... and my muscles felt revitalised....

Last Friday, I went for a small army gathering... just a few of the specialists... and in a way... i was sort of eager to share with them my new purchase.... but in another way.. they surprised me with their new purchases as well... haha...
My other mortar specialist who also drives to camp last time, used to drive a Subaru TS.... but that night... he surprised me when he drove up next to me in a Mini.... haha.... $127k woh.... can buy 2 normal plate Rush....
I felt quite happy... seeing that he is doing so well already.... think in some oil firm....so with all the price rise... it's not a surprise.... but anyway, he has always been rich....

Well.. there'll be a big gathering this coming Saturday... we will all be gathering for our ICT briefing... so it's nice to catch up with everyone again....
Those were the days man....

Oh yar.. forgot to mention.... my left little finger injury... from a basketball session about 3 weeks ago.... I've always been ignoring it.... thinking of it as a small problem, and that it will heal itself...
But last week, i finally went to the Chinese physician... because the pain has been going on for so long... and i can't use my little finger... it hurts when i move it...
And last week.... wow.... i thought it couldn't hurt much... because i've tried massaging it myself... but the sinseh proved me wrong... i seriously have no idea how he can pressed till the pain shoots throughout my body....
Ouch man...

And just this evening, after my run.. i went to have it re-assessed again... and though it was much better... and i was still thinking it couldn't hurt as much now....
Haha.... the sinseh proved me wrong again....

Now my little finger is all bandaged up..... lucky it's on the left hand.... but still... it is kinda troublesome...

A new Era has begun.....

I just came back from sending my last family car off..... the Nissan Sunny.... it had to go....

Felt abit sad.... haha.... but well... it has to go..... so it had to go.....

Ok.... crapping liao....

Anyway, just passed it to the car salesman to be taken away.... because as mentioned before... my family is trading in 2 cars to change to one...
The Picanto was handed over by my brother at NUS yesterday....

Well.... the old one don't go, the new one don't come....

Spent quite abit of time last night transferring all the stuffs to the new Rush..... slept rather late because of that... then just now still went on to adjust some stuffs here and there... haha...
Well... it's not everyday you get a new car... so i guess it's normal to want to fiddle around with it...

So far... everything seem fine and good... just abit sian that they haven't pass me the original key... now i have to lock and open the key with a normal house-key-like key... no remote control, no nothing.... sian....

But well... other than that.. i would say... i am very satisfied... haha...

Well... actually he was the one who pyscho-ed my go buy in the first place.... haha..

Oh well.. already saw the results... well... I've never really been luck in this type of "luck-relate" stuffs... so take it as do charity ba.... haha... (trying to console myself)

Been so busy this few days.... attending the First Aid Course (FAC)... 3 days... Tuesday till tomorrow... it's a requirement for my NCAP Level 1 Coach license....

So tomorrow i am going to be real busy.... after finishing my FAC tomorrow afternoon.. having the final test by the way, i have to head down to the car mall to inspect and get my car, then after that go for lessons in school....

Busy busy busy....

Been catching some Korean movies on VEOH recently... and i think... i'm kinda addicted... haha...
There so many funny and touching shows which i have been missing... but thanks to this thing... haha..... can watch for free...

Anyway... i think maybe i've made a mistake in learning Japanese... maybe i should have gone for Korean instead... haha....

Movies wise, i think it's the Korean movies that are attracting me.... like Windstruck, my Sassy Girl.... Japanese movies doesn't seem to have that great an effect...
And worst still... Japan is now facing a very tight market... so should i say.... filled up.... everything there is getting very expensive... not a very good place to venture into i guess...

The only thing that is touching me are the songs by Ayumi Hamasaki.... hmmm...
And well.. Korean language sounds quite rude....

Oh well... already going to finish my E1... maybe i'll finish up with Japanese, then go on to learn Korean.... haha...

Today is my Mum's birthday... haha.... hitting the 1/2 century mark liao...

Had just a small celebration at home... going to wait for my dad to come back this weekend, then we go for a big celebration.... haha..

Well... in case the cake looked similar to mine... well... it's about the same... because i choose one.. haha....

The sad story of a Golden Retriever...

Went for my dog-walking at SPCA this morning... carried on with it despite the rain... and also despite the fact that i was quite tired by the late night outing last night... haha...

Well.... the dogs need their walks....

Anyway... seeing lesser Huskies left there... but there's still 2 Golden Retriever (GR)... and i think it's kinda sad....

After the walk... i went into the cages to play with the 2 GRs... they were in separate cages... i went into the first one... and i had a hard time getting out.... the first GR was so excited with a human... it just hang on to me... refusing to let me go.... once i open the cage door, it will just try to dash out with me...

It feels kinda sad... because i have the feeling that it wanted to go back to the company of humans very much... the comfort of a warm family in a house, instead of being caged up... so it is actively trying to get any human owners.....

It's sad....

After i finally manage to get out... it barked at me.... i guessed it was it's way of scolding me for not bringing it out together... something like that... -_-

Haiz... really sad life...

The 2nd GR.. the name's Prince.... he was a much better tempered GR.... he was rather silent and steady throughout... not sure if that should be normal... he just walked around me... not as fiercely active as the 1st GR... but he just gave me a very sad feeling.... like he already knew that he will be spending some time there... and i am not the one who will bring him out.... but he was still very friendly to me.....

Haiz... if i am living in a private estate.... i would straight away just adopt this Prince.... he just touched me as a dog.... really good tempered and calm dog...

Following that... i went to check out the cats adn rabbit cages.... and that's when i started wondering.. maybe it would be good to start with rearing either one.... the first and foremost thing is that... they are so much cleaner... and not that smelly... haha... rather low maintenance... you can just leave them to themselves for a long period of time.. and they won't go crazy...

Given my irregular schedules... maybe getting a cat would be a better idea.... at least they would interact with you more than a rabbit.... rabbits are rather "dao".. based on my observations...

Hmmm.... got to give it more thoughts first...

Oh well... a rather emotional trip this morning....

After that, i went home and was knocked out... all the way till it's time for my Japanese lessons...

Going to finish my Elementary 1 (E1) soon.... going on to E2.. then E3.. then can go for JLPT 4 liao... think that is going to take at least till the end of this year....

Hmmm... so far so good... having a test at the end of my course... shouldn't be much of a problem... maybe after getting my JLPT 4, i would decide to change schools or something... see how ba.... haha

My Birthday Celebration with the MK Gang...

Had a belated birthday celebration with the MK gang today... well... it was a combined birthday celebration together with Luis's girlfriend, Yan Li.... haha... her's is on the 21st March... same as my mum.... and so we decided to have a combined celebration in between both dates...

Anyway,before the celebration... i went for work, then went home to get changed, before moving out to the birthday celebration venue, at the Sakura (Clementi), just opposite NUS engineering block... a buffet restaurant...

I didn't know this place actually existed... in fact... i couldn't even find it... i had to make a few U-turns before i finally managed to find it.... haha... it's at such an isolated location.... but i guess that's what makes it special.... it has such a nice ambience as a stand alone restaurant... not to mention that the food is really great... ^_^

Really a nice place... haha.... maybe next time I'll bring my family here...

I ate till i was so full.... it was kinda uncomfortable..... actually i didn't eat alot... i guess either my appetite has decreased, maybe due to my illness from the day before... in fact.. i just recovered this afternoon... and it could be the fact that i had a light meal before going... i didn't know it was a buffet.... -_-"

But it was fun... been a long time since we last played pool together.... haha...

Then since HK and Nelson had some school stuff to work on, we left early.....

It was a awesome celebration today man.... nice food... food friends.... haha.....

22....

Today is my birthday..... ^_^

Well... turned 22 already.... Haha....

But the only downside is that... well... i spent this few days in a sick form... had a terrible running nose.. sore throat... and abit of fever...

Think i was infected by the air con in one of SIM's lecture hall... smelt something weird the moment i went in for my lesson.... and subsequently just developed a running nose.... and start sneezing...

Haiz....

But i guess i am already sort of sickly from the past weekend... spent quite abit of time under the Sun... had a archery project on Saturday, plus played basketball on Sunday.... my face was kinda burnt...
I think the weather is getting rather hot nowadays... and rather sunny.... not a good sign...

Anyway, i had a small celebration with my SIM friends on the eve... with 4 guy friends... we went to Bukit Timah Centre and played pool... followed by dinner...
Pool was rather ok... though it's been ages since i last played... my aiming and "feel" was rather terrible... haha... but still manage to win some matches... haha...not bad...

Our dinner wise... i think it was a mistake... haha... i decided to eat something else other then the usual Indian food we always had, so in the end we went to a Korean restaurant...
The first issue was that... there wasn't any food that i see on the menu that is to my liking... there's no hotplate stuffs like the Korean food in foodcourts...
Secondly... the waiter seem rather unsure... it's like everything i ask... he's not very sure.... and i think he is from China... in fact... i think the whole crew of them are from China...

In the end, we had no choice... we ordered a big bowl of some spicy stuff to share amongst all of us... it's wasn't that great... they replaced the pork content with hotdogs... because i had a friend who don't take pork... kinda cheapo i would say....
But the main thing was... it wasn't that great... and it was rather expensive for some food that is not nice... in fact... very....
Since it was a celebration for me.. i decided to pick the tab.... haha.... costly not nice meal... -_-"


Today.... i had another celebration... haha...

In the morning... i went to the Bras Brasah Complex.. wanting to get pens with Chinese engraving of my family names, for my family.. as well as one for myself... haha...
The only problem was that... well... the shop wasn't open today.... and there's no indication of any sort at the shutters... i waited for 2 hours before giving up.... and went home.. empty handed...

In the evening, I went for a small celebration with my JC classmates... actually only 2 of them... De Jian and my Tu Er.... haha.... wanted to keep it small and easy... we went to Block 85 for dinner... ate quite abit... which i shouldn't have... i haven't recovered from my illness.... but well... heck.... it's my Birthday.... Haha....

By the way, thanks for the gift... haha.. ^_^


Had a small celebration with my family at home just now... just a small cake... haha... because there's only my brother and me eating the cake... my mum cannot eat due to the sugar content... so basically we each took half... and finished it of...

On my 22nd Birthday.... well... just want to make some change to myself...

First, i shall let all grievances, grouses, hatred... and whatever injustice that i may have suffered be gone... they shall be passed along with history...
And as such... i shall stop calling people names.... haha... I've been rather guilty of them... and well.... bear no grouses against anyone....

I wish to start my life anew... haha....

Any mistakes that i may have made.... i hope they will be passed into history as well... and well... let's face the world anew...

And to my FCH.... i am coming for you.... Muahahahaha....

Darn... just wanted to book my IPPT for tomorrow... it's the last day of my window.... and i wanted to go for a silver tomorrow...

The problem is... i have to book by 1200 today..... and i've already over shot the time...


Arrgghh.... damm wasted... i feel so ready for my silver... and another thing is... as a commander... getting a pass is really not acceptable for me....

Haiz... there goes $100..... sian.....

But then again.... well... i may not get it... my problem is with my SBJ... the other events are all ok... SBJ is more of a on-off temperate event...

Well... i guess i should start training up more now... aim for a Gold next year... compensate for my loss.... haha...

Angry Rainy Day....

Some idiot released all the air in my bicycle just now... at the MRT....

And i have to walk with my bicycle home in the rain because of that....

I wish the idiot ^&&*&(^&%$$#$@%()_ *^&%^$&*(&)(*)....

At the same time... i wish the idiot well... so that he/she will not have to go through what I've gone through... walking in the rain, pushing a deflated bicycle.... wet... and cold....

Haiz.... oh well...

Anyway, i just shot an email to SMRT... requesting for more camera surveillance around the bicycle parks.... i hope they would really consider it.... I've heard too many stories of bicycles being stolen from the MRTs.... from friends.... rumours... even i myself lost a bicycle to the MRT thieves already...
Actually it's not me, but my brother......

I believe it's high time they do something about it.... a business organisations is not only about profit earning... it's also about being a good corporate citizen... taking care of the general public...
With so many bicycle users at the MRT.... it would benefit them in retaining loyalty of the users, especially the cyclists...
Not to mention that having more cameras around would add in security as well, especially terrorists or whatsoever....

Went for my dog walking this morning... saw only 1 Golden retriever and 2 huskies left.... either they've been adopted, or they are being rotated around... i hope it's the former... this dogs shouldn't have been abandoned.... in fact.. no dogs should be....

In the afternoon, i went for the Canon training workshop... learnt so much more about my camera... it's something that i have always wanted to take up... but reading the manual was too much trouble... i can't even finish my own lecture readings... haha...
Having someone to physically explain the stuffs to you is so much easier.... though i must admit the presenter was abit boring..... -_-

But well... at least i still learn quite abit of things....

Currently... i'm rather hooked on "Gong Zhu Xiao Mei".... haha... anyone got the whole series.. please do lend me..... ^_^

Rainy Rainy Week....

Just been through a rather rainy week... and very cool months...

I haven't used my air-con and fan for dono how long.. save for the occassional switch it on to prevent it from spoiling...

Raining all day long this few days... even during my blading session with some ODAC friends on Tuesday...

Well... i guess they are considered friends... haha... though i haven't been to so many activities... because they are all so expensive man... and require quite abit of traveling... and i practically don't know anyone there.... except for my course mate.... haha...

Guess i'm not too used to it...

But now, at least my good friend is the President of the club... so it'll be easier to be in the club i guess....
And in a way, i was sort of happy... when he began to consult me on activities i've done in my ODAC, since he heard form my other friend that i was the President before.... to be exact... 16th SRJC ODAC President.... ^_^ (hao lian abit... haha....)

And i happily, and proudly, told him about out Mount Ophir trip, which also motivated him to want to do a trip like that too... haha...

Iw as quite enthusiastic with it too... don't mind doing it again..

Had rather beautiful memories of it.... ^_^
And this time, i am going to capture this memories with my Canon S5IS.... Muahahaha....

By the way, i just signed up for my camera training by Canon, a complimentary class for all new purchases... haha... and it's tomorrow... really last minute... i like just registered... haha...

It's at harbour front... so i'll go after my dog walking... better go now while i am still free... haha... next week start revisions liao...

Kinda miss my dog walking already... didn't go last week because of my prelims... so i am sort of looking forward to go tomorrow... haha...

I guess in a way... sometimes, it's really good to have a bond with a dog... it's really.... un-describable.... if there's even such a word...
It's a beautiful world for a dog lover.... haha....

I'm really aiming... next time .. if i have the financial capabilities... i'll get a private home, jsut so i can rear the bigger pure breeds... either a Siberian Husky, or a Golden Retriever... they are in abundance in the SPCA now... which i really think is a sad thing....

LDW School of Thoughts...

I suddenly have an inspiration... to record down a thought of mine... haha...

It is titled.. "Identity lost"....


This takes places when a person, whose personal identity is not strong enough to withstand the influence and pressure from the group identity, thus resulting in the personal identity being taken over by that of the group identity. The personal identity is lost here.

This is especially so in cases of gangs, doing drugs or fighting, seeking trouble. The individuals in the group lost their identity, to conform to that of the group.

The inspiration for this thought came from a remark by our MM LKY, in which he mentioned something like our country is too small to survive on our own, and sooner or later, we will need to merge with some other country. This is when, we, as Singaporeans, would loses our own identity, to join up with the other big countries.

It is also evident when we were a British colony, occupied by the Japanese, and also when we were under the Malaysia rule.

Well.... that's about all... for my SOT. ^_^

Prelims... Basketball matches....

Many activities happening... and with all the studying to be done...


But at least it's over for now... at least for a short while...

Prelims wise... i think i would fare average.... the first 2 papers were sort of given up... because i was concentrating on my UOL coursework... which was to be handed in the middle of the prelims... an extended dateline....
The 2nd week of test should be quite alright.... except for Stats 1... couldnt' remember all the formulas....
Turtle... why don't they just give a formula sheet... so many formulas... how to remember????

Anyway, it's all over on last Thursday....

Joined a SIM organised basketball match last Saturday... they placed it in the middle of our prelims as well... to conicide with the school's open house...

Another not very smart move... i formed a team with Luis and De Jian... and another friend of mine from my degree.... and we've only practiced once together... because all of us had to study...
Then my friend last minute couldn't make it... got some serious personal matters... so we have to chiong all the way...

Well... i would just put it down to our lack of synergy and communication.... we totally not on the same language... haha.... so in the end, won 2 matches, loses 2... couldn't get into the quarter finals....

Think we could have gotten in one... but the lack of synergy... haiz...

To be honest, i didn't even used up to 60% of my power.... sian.... -_-"

Oh well..... anyway we wouldn't have survived the last few matches... the players were too good...

Oh well... maybe can prepare for next year then... haha...

Due to the lack of performance... i went on to play with Luis and his gf near his house.... then played again yesterday morning.... fierce sia.... haha... whole body aching from all the impacts... haha.... especially my legs... but it's good training.... yep....
